All Eurovision 2007 Song Intros Sorted by Length

- DETAILS
- the "introduction" here is defined as the opening part of the song before the main credited artist (if not applicable, main vocalist) starts singing the main defined vocal line of the song
- backing vocals can be part of the intro
- only live performances count
Other notes:
- Switzerland's artist is only credited as DJ BoBo which is why the vocals are included at the beginning- there's no other non subjective way to differentiate between backing and main vocalists other than this, just think of it as any other intro with backing vocals that just sounds more like a main line.
I hope you enjoy the video!
Moldova barely scraped through the semis by 3 points, then they finished the final in 10th place, beating 4 other SF qualifiers. It lived up to its title.
That's one of the main reasons the 2 SF system was introduced the year after
@danuostret1900
Would have thought 28 songs in a semi and Austria's complaints about bloc voting were the main reasons but ok
PS Latvia was 10th in the semi in 2005 and came 5th overall
@@morbidsearch I said one of the main ones , there are undoubtedly many more
My country's only win , in intro length

@@luisotaviano6506it'll be the longest one so far since it's 58 seconds too
First time we had more than 40 countries. With 41 intros (one has no intros), even with 12 intros under 5 seconds, 26 intros under 10 seconds, and one micro-intro from Ukraine (0.76 seconds), this video almost reached 8 minutes. 16 intros exceeded 10 seconds, with 11 of them ranging from 10 to 19 seconds, 4 of them between 20 to 30 seconds, and 1 of them, Moldova, hitting 34.46 seconds.
One of the most exquisite contests with a lot of musical diversity, the year I started following Eurovision religiously.
Oh yeah, I agree with that , but it's sad that 2007 was followed by the disastrous 2008
Slovenia has the best intro by far
It's such a shame In The Middle was such a letdown.
I won't be surprised if we withdraw from Esc 2025
@@danuostret1900 You would be missed. Lautar and My Lucky Day are just two of my favorites. And ofc who can forget Epic Sax Guy.
3:23 love Andorra
Oh and Moldova
Erikur hakusson 🙌🇮🇸
All of his 3 entries are bangers
Get ready for the longest intro yet 👀
It will be really interesting when you do 2008’s. If you count Dancing Lasha Tumbai as starting with the “hello my name is verka” I’ll be interested to see how you do 2008, particularly for Ireland’s “oh I come from a nation” and Israel’s religious folk vocal, both of which are effectively intros for their entries (2008 is the first time I paid attention to all the entries).
@@elaychscrazyworld4173 my rules are clear, all of those count as the vocal line of the song, not sure what's so complicated
@@clarinetmoonesc it will just be interesting to see if these 2 legendary 2008 entries will be seen as no intro. It’s for me to find out!
