- What to do when your Vizsla becomes a picky eater. Kobe is not a picky eater but he has days he doesn't want to eat his food so we put a small tea spoon of organic coconut oil and that does the trick. From my research coconut oil is good for dogs, Helps their immune system, also skin and coat.

I fed coconut oil to my Vizsla, too. So good for their skin and coat! Kobe is such a sweet boy ❤️

Damn, my Vizsla eats anything! We give him our "left-overs" as well as boiling up all the peelings, add some Rice, liver, heart etc and making a thick stew of that for him. He eats nuts, fruit, tomatoes etc.
Wow he not a picky eater at all. But Kobe been eating great not. Loves fruits and veggies
@@kobethevizsla157 It surprises me how vocal the breed is - my dog uses his "voice" to try and communicate with us; displeasure, happiness, excitement and of course, when he wants food. I feed him a handful of dry kibbles at bed time and it is not uncommon if I am "later than normal" for him to come to me and muzzle me, lick my hands, arm etc and generally try to get my attention with vocalisation as well. Very intelligent!

Is this the new food after the allergic/hives? Having the same thing with my puppy.. I can't understand what is causing this, super frustrating :/
He was still getting it after the change in food, so I went back to blue bafalo and it went away but once in a while it comes back. It is very frustrating. But vet can't figure it out. It doesn't seem to bother Kobe though. I'm thinking it could be the sand in my back yard but it's a problem I can't fix until I move unfortunately.if that's the case.
Great idea! At what age did you give him a raised bowl for his food and water? 😊
Hi! I follow you, too :) I never raised the bowl.
I don't remember the exact age but he got so tall so fast that we felt it was for comfortable for him. 😁 I think after 6 months old

Actually, we have now a puppy, who seems to be always hungry to the death. So i try to figure is it a personal or a breed kind?)
Yeh he has always been calm eater. I've seen dogs jug down the food so fast.
How old is the puppy and how many times a day do you feed him. I use to feed Kobe 3 times a day recently switch to two times a day.

Kobe might like his kibble if it soaks in a bit of warm water and then mixes with coconut oil too
Usually water is all I add but he has days he needs that coconut 🥥 oil
My Vizla was a picky eater. I introduced her to RAW food when she was 4 months. 12 months later. she is the most happy, energetic, muscular dog I've ever had. no more soft stool. or picky eater. I would never feed kibble to my dogs unless life changes bad for me. my 10 year old chihuahua also got better better with raw food. after months of re search. I would never touch kibble. just look at the ingredients and you will be surprised how poor kibble is. Dogs know it but they have to eat so they learn to adapt. I love your videos and I'm glad your dog is intact. keep him that way.
