That's not my takeaway from the quote. Sounds like he was ashamed that Zionism had become a thing among Euro-jews. Col Baud, pretty much summed up my thoughts on Oct 8, after seeing the video. Right from the start I was on all these stream saying it is IDF policies that soldiers on leave must bring their weapons with them, thus many of these firefight when engaging the "civilians" were IDF on a holiday. Remembered Oct 7, was a big holiday and Sabbath I think.
Also about this Hannibal Directive...It's a very clever and sinister policy. It's an order to shoot indiscriminately and later blame the opponent for massacre if possible. Second is to scare IDF soldier not to surrender, because you will be taken out if you surrender because we are taking out "the terrorist" and you with it.

Was the US "shock and awe" bombing of Iraq "proportionate"?
