    Awesome work.. I truly think you are one of the best people on TH-cam.. your tutorials are great.. love that you don't edit out the little frustrating parts like the sticky foam to your glove.. it's the little things like that you don't always see.. and as someone who has made stuff and found out after that there are little frustrating things in every build. It is nice to see it isn't just me..lol.. keep up the great work. And thanks for all your time and effort it really is appreciated by many.

      Thank you Stanley!! Thats an awesome compliment!! Im not a fan over polished diys with flashy graphics where everything comes together perfect everytime. I struggle too ,lol, so why edit it out? I try to be grass roots fundamental so folks aren't afraid to step out of their comfort zone and tackle a project and make something unique for their display. I really don't even consider myself a youtuber,lol, yeah I've done some videos that are on the TH-cams but I'm no Hollywood Haunter! Chris is a phenomenal craftsman! Thats who you should all be watching and not wasting time on me! Lol, Thank you Stanley and Happy Halloween to you and your family!

    fckn sweeeeet! next time possibly maybe when rocking the loctite a little dish soap or mold release on glove so it won't stick and you get some real accurate control of sculpting .great video I thought the brown was Tandy leather stain. it's a great variety of techniques demo .love all 3 !

      Thank you Brother! The dish soap or mold release is a great tip! 3 at one 1 time is too much! The brown is just a shot of pre filth. Tandy stain would work great too to bring out the details!

    Great work on them. This is something perfect for any skill level. The yellow eyes look like raw egg yolks in the skull. Extra creepy. I hope the people that come to your house appreciate all the effort.

    Macrame skulls. Very retro.
    Seriously though, these are bad ass. I love the black light too. That always makes anything cooler. I think my favorite is double chin and underbite, but they’re all kickass.

    Another great video. What did you use to get the black light glow with out ruining you paint job. By chance do you know how many skulls you can make from the 2 part foam you used?

    • @CobwebsandCandlesticks
      @CobwebsandCandlesticks  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I started with blacklight/flourescent base then after stain I dry brushed with it again to bring the color back up. With a 2 gallon kit from BITY mold supply probably 30 or 40 skulls easy.

    Awesome work. I was able to get 13" Styrofoam skulls for half off and now after seeing this I have to attempt to make them even bigger with the extended jaw trick. Is there a spray glue you prefer? Thanks for the great videos.

    • @CobwebsandCandlesticks
      @CobwebsandCandlesticks  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Awesome score! I like Super 77 because Super 90 is too hot for styrofoam and might melt it but that also makes a cool texture if you can control the melting by lightly spraying it on. You can also smear loctite adhesive in the caulk tube on for texture too but if your gluing something onto the skull I usually use 5 minute epoxy.
