They are both indeed so cute. Two beautiful nice young men. It's interesting to hear Paul talking over playing Connell and how deep you go in the caracter you are playing. It's the first time in my life, and i'm not that young anymore -:). That i went so deep in the emotions of the head cast of a show by watching a lot of intervieuws of Paul and Daisy. Watching and reading the show many times. I found it all very interesting. From 'conversations with friends' i have till now only seen a trailer and it seems to be in the same style so i'm curious. I'm going to begin to read first the book. It's nice that we can hear about their experiences in their shows.
The difference between the adaptations is CWF elevates the text - it is Rooney's first novel and therefore I feel there are major flaws, and on first reading I disliked the characters , however, the adaptation successfully transformed the characters for me - they were more likeable and relatable (and I was able to go back to the text and appreciate it in a different way). That is down to the excellent casting. Both adaptations have wonderful casting. Congrats to all involved. And the music and editing for both series is great. Well done to Abrahamson, Mescal, Edgar-Jones, Alwyn, Oliver etc
put this on while I was making breakfast just now, and it was the most comforting and enlightening experience ever; would love to hear more about these two and their thoughts again

coming soon Paul Mescal the comb over years ,watching paint dry would be far more exciting than listening a 2nd time to these 2 very bland boring white guys ,The one Daisy did with Alison and Sasha was far more interesting though Conversations was tedious and a rare misfire from Lennie Abrahamson
