Hey, brand new to your channel as I was searching info on the Insta360 for virtual/video tours. Really enjoying your content. Do you cover a how-to in any of your videos on shooting 360° photos outside when it's raining?
I do not have any in particular, but I don't believe this camera is waterproof without the dive case so I would recommend using the X3 if you know it will be doing mainly exteriors in rainy environments or getting the dive case for it and you wont have to worry about a thing 😁

I absolutely love the sped-up effect you did on Davinci resolve. I just watched the final product on Instagram and I love it. I'll try to replicate that on premiere pro. I also noticed the drone capture towards the end. Drone photography is really regulated in my country (a tiny country in Africa called Kenya) with restriction for entry but i'll find a workaround. Still trying to land my first client for the virtual tour and I was wondering which other services I should bundle this with.
The more services you can offer, the higher chances you can land more reliable long term clients. Don't feel rushed to offer anything before you're ready to charge for it, but try and offer what you can. About a year ago I did a video all about how to fake drone shots for the places where I can't fly
Jeremy - thanks for the content. So very helpful. 2 questions... I noticed you changed the way you held the camera in this video (camera above stick vs camera below). Was this because you wanted a higher angle for the agent cameos or some other reason? Also, are the agents ok with not speaking for the video? Looks to save some effort with wireless mics and scripts...
You nailed it on the head, I hold it in the traditional upright position so the agent's body doesn't look awkward when I get too close to them, especially for the end scene. Good catch!
Honestly most agents prefer not to have to talk and only be on camera for a few moments. I think after you do 5 of these with an agent it would be an easy sell to get them to try the full onscreen style video.
Thanks for the quick reply - headed out now to another property and walkthrough video - loving the Insta360 1 inch for this. (100% based on your recommendation, btw). I was wondering if the camera position was for anything else. I sometimes have a bit of a pendulum effect when the camera is below the stick. But I fear that has more to do with my anti-ninja bad knee... 😆
Is it possible to achieve a reasonable result using a camera with a smaller sensor (like the insta360 x3) applying the same technique?
I purchased the x3 for this application and 3D tours but wasn't too happy with the results. Returned it for the 1 inch and I'm much happier. (your results might vary....)

These are traditional videos so I deliver the files on Aryeo with the other photos/videos I do.
Actually, i have the very same insta camera and tried to do some 360 video a few days ago, however, the quality seems to be lower than your although I can swear I used top settings, is there a chance you could explain about the setting?
You have to make sure when you're exporting from the Insta360 app to crank the bittate all the way up. It will automatically be set around 1/3 and that will 100% effect the final quality. That's the biggest mistake I see people making for these
Watching as many of your videos as I can now. Looking at buying one of these but my main benefit would actually be using this in a full mobile scenario. Do you know if the mobile app for this camera can do the HDR exposure bracketing that the desktop version can? Asking that question to Google is a dumpster fire.
I know you can take the images, but the application specifically tells you to get the full version on the raw file it must be done through the desktop studio software. Sorry for the long response time, I wanted to turn it all on and test it before I gave you a firm answer. So you can get a pre-edited .jpeg from the mobile app, but not access to the full raw file

hello Jeremy, may I know what is the maximum export resolution for reframe video of insta360 1Inch edition? Even though the company claimed it could shoot up to 6k but i have seen some consumers claimed that after reframe in the insta360 studio, you can only export up to 1080 resolution. is it true?
I have no clue what the maximum export resolution can be, but I know for a fact when I shoot with the camera I export 4k prores for everything.
From my research the mobile application limits resolution export. You have to use the desktop studio edition for full resolution exporting

I love your videos but, 5 houses a day, 5 days a week???
I know it might seem like a lot, but that was pretty much the standard for me last year. This year I have noticed a major shift in the market that has me somehow making more money shooting only 1-2 houses a day that I'll have a video covering in the next few weeks.
How do you differentiate the service between filming with a 360 camera for a walkthrough vs using a gimbal and camera for a "cinematic" approach? What do you refer to them both as? How do you sell it?
I currently offer a "walkthrough" but it's with a camera and gimbal. I admit, I'm not as well versed in video as I'd like to be. I've been editing it for a while but shooting it is another story.
I sell this video and the traditional style video for the same price and I differentiate them by calling this one specifically a Social Media Walkthrough With Agent Camero. The other video I call a traditional styles MLS video. Most agents really understand when they see one is horizontal and one is vertical.

@@the_luminary honestly it depends on the size of the property and if they want anything special, but a basic house wanting nothing special except a few agent cameos for a 2,000sq ft house would be roughly $200 but keep in mind this is only an addon service for me to get the invoice up there.

@@dennisdischler6541 unfortunately I do not. My Rode system got dropped in a pond a long time ago and I said I would not buy another until they released one with 24bit float. I'm waiting for that one to arrive and then I'll try it out. All the walkthroughs I do with it are super short with little agent pop-ups
