@Poppy E 100% agree and im all for corporal punishment infact i believe its part of the reason this generation has gone to so much shit but the 2 corporal punishments in this were fucking evil. give em a swat on the butt should not leave a welp and damn sure should not make the child feel the need to defend themselves.

It's a pity that these people are born into such tyranny, where they have to follow these selfish 'rules' without question. After all, they are being fed, sheltered and provided for... I think the worst part is how much you get used to living such a terrible childhood.

As a bit of an awareness issue, psychopaths are people who can't feel empathy and sometimes "positive emotions" by doing positive things. They literally can't, and it's not something you acquire, it's an inborn trait, even though it only shows as you grow up. They can, however, understand the rules of a society they're living in, and comply - if only not to get arrested. Some people believe that affection shown by psychopaths (they do start families sometimes, you know) is even more genuine, since they actually choose to be nice rather than follow the feeling of "love" blindly, which many people can't control, and which may go away in time.

A month and a half later he did it. After the latest bout of psychological torture and financial/emotional abuse... he walked into the house, went into my dad’s bedroom and shot him four times. Then turned it on himself, left a letter saying that he wanted to live but couldn’t imagine going to prison.
I miss my brother. But I hope my father felt every bit of that.

Some guy on the internet There’s days I wish I had done it first, as my brother received it just as badly as I did.
But yes, the system is absolutely fucked. Narcissists don’t change, and letting them become parents is setting the children up for a miserable, miserable life. And they can do absolutely nothing about it. I’m not huge on organized religion, but one of the best ways I’ve heard narcissistic parents described was “Unfortunately, sometimes... the devil himself has children. And it is very unfortunate when these monsters have children themselves. Because these young people are now essentially owned by someone who does not and will never view them as a person.” By the time these children become adults, they’ve been so mentally, emotionally, and often times financially crippled that they may never truly be able to lead a peaceful life. It’s lifelong damage that these monsters inflict. Killing them doesn’t seem quite that immoral when it’s all put into perspective, especially when it’s the only way out.

The strict not abusive strict are the parents that just want the kid to have the best life so they overthink but if your parents are insanely strict talk to somebody about it or convince them to stop

A lot of these are ground for cases of child abuse and child neglect.

spanking your child's bottom for doing something wrong is one thing but the stuff said here is just insane and is outright abuse.

Parents need to learn how to not make their children build up that much hatred toward them

I'm a good example of what happens when you parents bread hatred in you kids. My grandmother has raised me and long sorry short she sucks as a parent. She has planted UNBELIEVABLY strong seeds of hatred and distrust in me towards her and I've become as distance as possible, hell I've pretty much raised myself from highschool and up.

Seriously. Yelling really badly just a few times a year is enough to build up hate over 5 years, let alone in the first year it being multiple times a week, sometimes more than once a day. My life story since 1st grade, when school really starts shaping you.

This video really makes me appreciate the parents I have. They are and always have been really laid back and supportive. I feel really bad for these people having to grow up like that.
