I bought one of these once sometime ago. A Suzuki version of this truck. Nice truck. Wasn't fast. After mounting the hayabusa in it, it went fast. Real fast.

We own 6 of these. 2 we use on the farm. The others we needed the cab and bed. The bed we made side and tail gate liners. This is after we cut out the room needed for an engine cover. Also rear of cab and bed bottom liners. We converted the steering and dash to left hand drive. We designed a tubular frame for a vtwin Honda bike engine and 5spd using a 8.8 Ford mustang rear end and disc brakes. We used the mustang brakes for the front as well. We lifted the truck with a slightly wider stance. R and P steering coil over shocks. Complete outer crash/rollover cage. This thing can be driven on the interstate if allowed. Its fast. Its easy on gas. It has 2 twelve gallon tanks with the gas tank switch over.

You'd get run over on the freeway in Cali in one of those. They top out at around 50mph. That's at least 25-30 mph slower than the average southern Cali freeway driver. If you don't get run over, you might get shot for holding up traffic. It might work, though, if you only attempt freeway driving at peak hours, when average speeds are around 5mph.
