I bought this game years ago. I still have my cartridge. Never will I part with it. This game I always go back to play it. From every moment this game shaped my life as a gamer and I haven't found a game that will ever be as good. Well.. that and Secret of Mana, Terranimga just to name such a few incredible gems
Ahhh...this game was the bomb! It's amazing how sprites and basic tunes from super nintendo can capture our imagination so much better than the complex graphical games of today.
A very emotional end The music sells the scene The dialogue is painful clear what the fear And the moment is bittersweet Because it’s poetic ending is always with us
What is so sad about this game, is that humanity didn't learn its lesson, and that makes me truly sad, because this game truly speaks about the downfall of humanity. When all the poles melt, it will be too late for us to change, and it will take until then or after that till we finally learn our lesson.
@@rurig3608 Global warming is the ongoing rise of the average temperature of the Earth's climate system and has been demonstrated by direct temperature measurements and by measurements of various effects of the warming. I think that's what they mean.
i never even played this game ever, but i have seen my sister played it and she never even finished it, i never got to see the ending but now i did, and the ending of the story was perfectly good
It was really just a minor trend for a few years. People over-glorify the "SNES era" of RPGs but the last ones were pretty forgettable and bloated, like Tales of Phantasia and Star Ocean, and it even spilled over a bit into the disc era with FF7. Check out Ultima 7 (PC version of course) and Phantasy Star 2-4 for some really deep RPGs you may not have heard about.
Such a lamentably underrated game. Brilliant gameplay, brilliant story, brilliant graphics, brilliant music. Love it.

The vampires are the best part.
The whole Trilogy is great

first game ever when I was growing up to make me tear up....This ending was so sad
6:24. All the feels the moment that song begins.
One of the best games of Snes. The very first game that i found that gives a message to the player.
I loved the whole message. It gas made me think about everything in it and I have absorbed it and taken it on my life journey.
A very emotional end
The music sells the scene
The dialogue is painful clear what the fear

BEST GAME OF MY LIFE! While everyone says Ocarina of Time was their favourite, I always say Illusion of Gaia, the story was amazing, and so memorable!
Over here it's the illusion of time. The vampires are the best part.
This game ALWAYS my favorite, I never get tired playing this.
I've played this game 3 or 4 times, and every time I play again, I love it more and more.
thank you... memories...
It was amazing to my 10 year old self. I can't say the same now, but damn if the aesthetics and characters haven't lingered in my heart.

Poles melt lol fuck off.

Juego asi no se volverá a repetir
The ending was always so sad. No matter what they did, no matter how far humanity advanced, Gaia herself could only be ruined.
Even if we do have a disaster, good chance we might not learn our lesson.
Ah, memories...
I think there's one more scene after this. As I recall, it shows the entire group is alive and well.
Yes, it's on the next video I think titled "credit roll" 😀
Thanks for uploading!

Kind of resembles the Evangelion ending a bit...

90s media was so Gnostic and esoteric. I miss those days.Although the world is flat. They got that wrong.
How is the world flat?

This was a good game but it was too easy. Let's just say that I beat it on December 26, 1994.
such a weird story. i remember being disappointed by the last bit of it.
Why, it was/is good.
