I've had so much fun with this boss, I'm not a great pvmer but I could solo the nm bosses just fine. I had no idea I was supposed to pay attention to the glowing icons at the last boss.. I've just been face tanking the hits with a vit pot and reflect, so thanks for sharing! x D
For the "be obliterated" ability on the last boss, you can simply pray mage for a 4-5k hit. Also means that you can use devotion, which is almost necessary on hardmode as it will hit thrice in a row
The thing I loved the most was they managed to make a mechanically driven boss without having to resort to switchscape, love this! The one huge drawback for me seems to be time-to-react mechanics. I don't know if it's the 2 ticks to respond that is shorter than even the global cool down or if it's just the lag making it hard to respond but hopefully they fix it. Overall I love this series of boss fights!
@protoxx also, one bug i noticed is Nakatra can "double die." When deathmark procs, it sends you into the sandstorm and forces a glyph mechanic. After that shell have 30k health again and go through her blast attack cycle which is kind of annoying.
I like how it took almost exactly 7 years, entire elder godwar, zamorak's banishment and reinstating of edicts, and a release of necromancy to continue amascut's storyline from 'Phite club. Also at 8:33 can't you literally just walk it? there is a slight delay between those waves so I would assume you walk outside of the almost charged area, let it blow and walk back into it to dodge the area that is charging after.
@protoxx For the hieroglyph mechanic on Nakatra you don't need to stand on the white spot, just the glyph itself. Also, I haven't figured out the scarabs yet, because I've just ignored them. Not sure what the punishment is for missing them but I used my stuns on the hounds during her P2 since they hit hard with melee and standing close helps dodge the blast attacks. Haven't tried HM yet, but I've been able to do a straight run in NM without banking or using the rebirth.

Has a huge range on his Melee though, so if you want to camp Protect/Deflect Magic.. stay far away from him. - The Ice-Prison attack feels very similar to Nex/s Ice Prison.. except you can now actually get out of it in solo mode. With Necro a quick bloat or Finger of Death will get you out of there quick enough. - Fun boss...a bit chaotic.. but fun :) For Nakatra: - Uses Magic and Ranged when at a distance.. can use Melee up close. - Indeed summons 2 Neftys per player. - Her "Prepare for Death..... Be Obliterated!" attack can easily be Reso-ed since she will pause all other attacks, so she won't snipe the Resonance away. Easy heal back up to full. But it also seems to classify as a magic attack, so (especially in HM where she throws 3 hits at you) use Protecc/Delfecc Magic and Devotion to survive it. Barricade also works. - In the Devourer's Realm (My name for it) Use Protecc/Deflect Melee... the gorilla's smash the ground dealing massive Melee damage.. even when standing away from them. The 2 enemies that spawn don't do a lot of damage, so can be taken out quickly enough. --- You also can stand on the entire Hyroglyph.. not just the white part. I tested this and was able to survive it each time. White part or dark part does not matter. - The wave attack at 8:30. You can also stand on the edge of the waves and quickly walk to the area that just blew up. Saves you on quick movement and dive-abilities. It's a bit easier and more relaxed. Requires it to be precise though, but i prefer it over movement-abilities. For the entire dungeon... the Scarabs should definitely be killed! Yeah avoid Kezalam's telegraphed abilities, except for the half of them that aren't telegraphed at all, and a few that are telegraphed for like 2 seconds.
Having a blast with it so far, averaging about 10 minute runs on normal mode. Got the new scripture at about 6kc on the second boss, jury is still out on how I feel about it, seems like a mix of Wen and Ful books.
Divine Rage looks like pure achievement unlock but will forget it exists after unlock, and I'm concerned that they used the bleed version without fixing bleeds first.
The loot really does just suck horrendously considering all the supplies consumed. A penance powder alone costs 1,2mil (warning: deaths are not free, if you use up all your spare lives you lose your penance powder costing 1,2mil) and that would be fine if the loot wasn't a total demoralizing downer. Currently, the sanctum also comes with some nasty input lag that makes the punishing timing on some things just abysmal.
my problem with it is i got the scripture and codex really early, so now i need nothing from the first 2 bosses, and its a drag, especially when the commons are so bad.
As an osrs player this is just speculation: but could the common loot be affected by your performance during the fight? in osrs we have some bosses that require you to have a "perfect kill" in order to get the full potential of the regular loot table.
I disagree about the common loot. For a long time we've been accustomed to making mills every boss kill, AND having expensive uniques. It would be nice for once to have something that doesn't just shit out expensive commons, since I do think it will make the uniques retain value. Overall though good vid Protoxx, and good takes :)
hey love the vids as always but a few things ive found, dont get me wrong am no pro pvmer but got i think 12 kills in 3-4 hours 1 dont worry about the scarbs they dont really do a lot 2 dont camp SS you can easily flick which prayers to save soo much food, first boss is mainly range second is melee/mage third is range/mage (4 attacks at a time) 3 the final phase is any place in the square not just the white parts (also at this point you have like 20 seconds of no attacks so perfect time to living soul to 1 cycle this) likely other things will come meta but this is what i have found hopefully will try hard mode at some point but need my zuk cape first
Don’t get pulled into that sandy abyss more than three times in HM! I was taking it slow since I neared the end of my first HM kill and got 5 glyphs to memorize!!
Having no voice acting for a boss who openly says things that go with the mechanics is definitely a weird choice. I also miss bosses like Kerapac having a satisfying "death" cry when you successfully kill them. Rasial and Zemouregal don't really say anything upon defeat.
How are you doing so much damage? I have 120 necro and my attacks dont do nearly as much even with overload. Cant dps enough on ice prison or obelisk on 2nd boss.

They look so easy. Final boss seems really annoying as you need to dive and surge all the time. Dont have any time to pvm at the moment but when I do I give a try. :p
In NM you can pretty consistently do 5-7kph clears of the dungeon, I managed 6.5 without ripper spamming and commons are roughly 350k per boss, so its >7m ph in commons (not including moonstones, book pages, or rare drops) and I got 2 moonstones (2.2m/ea) I'd say its easily 12m/hr in commons if not more. Considering you can no food all three bosses as well, its pretty much pure profit.

I hope we get to summon some crazy beast or one these bosses as our 4th
Divine Rage looks like pure achievement unlock but will forget it exists after unlock, and I'm concerned that they used the bleed version without fixing bleeds first.
Your concerns are correct the wep is meh and sold it after I used it for a little this morning
Where is the prayer at I got the codex but I'm lost how to use it lolll
@@Jepphhh it's on the regular prayers, not curses
@@Jepphhh Normal spellbook.
It stacks with Piety & co. but you give up soul split.
@@RynotCards is it worth anything or worth usuing ?
Im glad they're making some positive changes for the end game like this that isn't a simple afkable boss or like 1-2 mechanics to look for.
Given that you're in normal mode, I'd argue that the drops are pretty fair.
As an osrs player this is just speculation: but could the common loot be affected by your performance during the fight? in osrs we have some bosses that require you to have a "perfect kill" in order to get the full potential of the regular loot table.
Theres no performance based loot with this
Wheres the link for the stream? Awesome vid!
I actually put the stream vod on private this time (once I finished this video)
is the common loot low because the unique drop rate is generous? Like Rasial?
I disagree about the common loot. For a long time we've been accustomed to making mills every boss kill, AND having expensive uniques. It would be nice for once to have something that doesn't just shit out expensive commons, since I do think it will make the uniques retain value. Overall though good vid Protoxx, and good takes :)
no bugs but 30 seconds ago you said the dungeon lags during certain abilities ... right
Jagex got that goldfish memory when it comes to common loot drops. Did we not already go through this with Vorkath?
I thought they said they wanted to move away from alchable drops too!
Does thread of fates with soul strike actually work?
Oh man the elite achievement is locked behind this? I dont boss so this is gonna be tough. Hope i can dart it
hey love the vids as always but a few things ive found, dont get me wrong am no pro pvmer but got i think 12 kills in 3-4 hours
1 dont worry about the scarbs they dont really do a lot
2 dont camp SS you can easily flick which prayers to save soo much food,
first boss is mainly range
second is melee/mage
third is range/mage (4 attacks at a time)
3 the final phase is any place in the square not just the white parts
(also at this point you have like 20 seconds of no attacks so perfect time to living soul to 1 cycle this)
likely other things will come meta but this is what i have found hopefully will try hard mode at some point but need my zuk cape first
If Protoxx think it's good, it must be good haha
normal mode is easy if you got the hang of it.. hard mode is a challange. but worth the learning curve :)
Last boss has a weird instantkill mecanic that i don't even see? (not the "prepair for death")
what is it? and what to do?
She has the prepare for death at the end of each phase I think? Plus the glyph mechanic. Those are the only ones I've dealt with.
My first duo kill was the off hand 😂
I used immortality as i didn't even see anything on the floor upon my return tbh 😅 I must be blind!
Don’t get pulled into that sandy abyss more than three times in HM! I was taking it slow since I neared the end of my first HM kill and got 5 glyphs to memorize!!
I got both weapons on 8kc on my iron - in normal mode, back to back :)
This is literally Qadim from Wing 6 in Guild Wars2
Mobile perk enjoys are eating good rn
So glad I have a love of going fast and had that on my gear already
Wow just what we needed, more pvm content,
-A skiller that's been waiting for a construction rework for 15 years
Fort forinthry was the rework. Gg
damn its starting to look like wow, same death debuff name too
Good video but you dont need mobile for last boss, if you dodge the aoe attack your cooldowns reset
Do you have to kill all of the bosses, or can you grand out one if you prefer?
its like an ED, without the mobs
i got all but pet and shard with 21 kc
made a killing off these bosses
Why are loot drop balancing such a difficulty for Jagex
is it a solo only dungeon?
1-4 players
How do you get 100% hr?
Having no voice acting for a boss who openly says things that go with the mechanics is definitely a weird choice.
I also miss bosses like Kerapac having a satisfying "death" cry when you successfully kill them. Rasial and Zemouregal don't really say anything upon defeat.
I haven't beaten Rasial yet. No hope here LOL :(
Does a deathtouched dart work on the final boss? I saved up 41 of those 😂
Nope :p
@@ProtoxxGaming Godverdomme 😂
How are you doing so much damage? I have 120 necro and my attacks dont do nearly as much even with overload. Cant dps enough on ice prison or obelisk on 2nd boss.
Its my rotation, god book and aura. Perks also help. You not dealing as much could be a lot of things. I have friends i cant out dps too.
Are u using a finger of death to get out of the prison?
@@ProtoxxGamingno it’s because vagex didn’t nerf yours or any other streamers necro. Literally no rotation or invention perks let anyone else do that much dps 🙄
LOL@@cassandrabrothers3181
he's really not doing crazy dps, if u want to see that look up the 13 minute zuk hard mode video
@@ProtoxxGaming I watched more videos and it's a lot of things lol. My action bar is awful. I literally use revo with like 10 slots lol idk good rotations but I guess I'll have to learn them. Many things I have to fix. I'm just frustrated because I have master quest cape and this is the first instance of difficult combat required for it. I really wish they put in story mode because not everyone is good at bossing like this.
As someone who doesn't boss very often, this looks too hard for me.
this update is insane lol
They look so easy. Final boss seems really annoying as you need to dive and surge all the time. Dont have any time to pvm at the moment but when I do I give a try. :p
Lol i got scripture first kill. Felt so good :,)
In NM you can pretty consistently do 5-7kph clears of the dungeon, I managed 6.5 without ripper spamming and commons are roughly 350k per boss, so its >7m ph in commons (not including moonstones, book pages, or rare drops) and I got 2 moonstones (2.2m/ea)
I'd say its easily 12m/hr in commons if not more. Considering you can no food all three bosses as well, its pretty much pure profit.
I found the normal mode of this dungeon super underwhelming for loot so I tried hard mode... you haven't seen chaos until you try hard mode
Do t 95 mage weps drop in nm?
yes, got a 2kc off hand
this does look good, although i just broke my shoulder, I cant playyy :(
Final boss kickin my ass but damn these bosses are fun
Gl on Hardmode :')
Sanctum of reberfff
what's the point of the gorillas on the final boss?
They'll hit the ground doing huge melee dmg to you at the start of the phase
No idea, distraction maybe?
they have a roar mechanic that you naturally disrupt without even noticing, if you read the chat log whilst fighting them it sometimes pops up
You can pray melee and devo the damage
@@MegaKing10001maybe in normal mode, sounds like the obliterate death hit attacks three times in hard mode so pray mage plus Devo is needed there more
Oh my god the final boss has almost the same mechanics as Calus from Destiny 2's Leviathan Raid. Like down to the "giant face of the boss sucking the players in while you memorize symbols."
nice n quick ty.
Hard mode is way too hard imo. Miss a mech and you’re dead is insane
How much did jagex pay you? Or you on the rsguy pipeline? The loot is trash, the boss is rng based (yes I know you can see the squares that will be lighted up from the symbols) but it's still rng which combo you get... Not to mention all the bugs... Lmao
This boss has crap loot imo and i make more from zammy in shorter time
New book is great!!
they are fixing the lagging there u not the only perso with that problem
The rng squares on the third boss hard mode is way too punishing - they give you too little time. Seems to me like people on the dev team took inspiration from games like ff14 when it comes to developing these new mechanics but failed to account for the god awful latency this game has that ff14 doesn't
Oi bro, no offence, half the info here is incorrect
Which half?
