I've just decided to watch all your older videos after watching your newest ones and I have to say, even five years ago your ideas are absolutely amazing xxx
Holy crap I finally did it!! I have officially watched EVERY SINGLE UPLOAD! You guys are amazing! Wish I could go meet you guys at Open Sauce this year!
The feedback on this video has been insane! You guys have totally killed it with the sharing and the video likes. Completely surreal for a little channel like us, thank you. Stay tuned for more videos in the short term future :)
Natural Nerd hello , your doing a great job. i have a question as im trying to make this lamp too. i cant find an acryllic sheet thicker then 3mm. can i get more then one sheets and join them together to make it thicker ? will it ruin the lighting ? please help me im a bit confused. thanks you so much.
Natural Nerd oh ok. i was thinking to construct a holder that goes around the whole sheet . like the one you designed to hold it from the bottom . but if i do it i will definatly show you. thanks alot for the reply buddy. i appriciate it
WHAT A GREAT JOB!! Those of us who have CNC machines, fancy routers and more power tools then we really need, it was refreshing for me to see someone who turns out beautiful works with just the basic tools. You also can tell you love every minute as you create your artistic items. Please keep up the great works.
This turned out so nice. It reminds me of the type of tech they have in Stargate Atlantis & Tomb Raider Underworld. It was really nice looking back at one of your older vids after watching your latest one. You've come so far in your techniques, concepts and presentation.
Smash that like button! Saw the thumbnail and the title and thought "oh wow, another tutorial using expensive tools (3D print, Laser cutter etc.)" but behold, it`s accesible and especially affordable tools. Amazing work!
As a craftsman myself, and some one that teaches others how to build things, I have to commend you on your work. Very good job! Excellent! I would purchase this if available.
love it!!! love it!!! love it!!! love it!!! love it!!! love it!!! love it!!! love it!!! love it!!! love it!!! love it!!! love it!!! love it!!! love it!!!
Me: *Sees thumbnail* WOW! I wanna make that! Martina: So, got this for 20 bucks, which is cheap in Norway. Me: *Nod nod* Swede here, agree! 20 bucks sound doable. Martina: Oh, by the by, you should get a dremel. Me: Right. Maybe I can... use a pocket knife? Martina: (casually) ...I just cut them off and soldered them back on. Me: ...Right. Martina: Oh, and then you get an Arduino-- Me: ...I don't think I'm the target group. :( Martina: I CODED it using this library, link below. Me: 0.0 I guess I gotta start leveling up some skills if I want an awesome LED structure of my own!
I admire your skill and determination! Looking at your videos I get this itch to make something, but I'd never be able to pull of stuff like this. The result looks awesome as hell, I know I'd pay real money for a lamp like that!
Nice work. You are really skilled. Acrylic can be cut just by scoring the surface a little bit and bending it, just like how glass is cut. You can also use a lazer cutter to cut and engrave intricate patterns, which will reduce a lot of effort and save time.
TY so much for the info here! FYI to anyone thinking of doing this with a dremel. Get yourself a flexible shaft it will make this a TON easier. Also, get a plastic cutting disc to cut the Acrylic sheet :-) Great video again and you got a new subscriber
These remind me so much of isolinear chips from Star Trek that I might have to build some! Also if holding a Dremel gets tiring I'd consider getting a hanging mount and a flex shaft attachment. They make long tedious sessions much less strenuous

I have tools that would make this very easy and fast, however, I was so impressed with your inginuity I don't think I could do it better. Awesome video.
you really should consider getting a flexible shart for your dremel - the pen shaped end is so much more comfortable to use than the main machine for longer jobs.
You've got a Very Artistic Side in my opinion That's pleasing to the eye -I Like- LED Lights and acrylic are a hoot , messing with clear Fiber optic strands in projects is a challenge as well... Love ambient lighting !
You could easily sell it even now. Although if she did that she should invest in a small CNC mill. That would make this much more profitable because she could make the acrylic plates much faster and to a greater degree of accuracy. Or she would get a plunge base for her dremel and make a template.
I was totally thinking this is so amazing I could do this. And then you lost me when you were wiring the leds 😂😂 I was like oh maybe not. This looks GREAT tho, amazing job. Talented!
this popped up on my home screen so i took a quick look.....totally glad i did. ive been looking for a small light for kids rooms...... after watching this ive an idea. if i fix a base to the wall above a bed but leave it so i can insert the acrylic sheet in & out, would it be bright enough to read?
If you want to do more of these and maybe save your hand from hurting you might want to look at an attachment for your Dremeal. It is called a "dremel flex shaft" but you may have to check and see if it fits your model. Alternately you can look about buying yourself a pencil grinder. Some can use the dremeal bits you just have to check for collet sizes.

Not sure, never tried this. How will you stick them together? Get back to me with results :)

best of luck natural nerd
I love it how each acrylic plates are at different lengths, it makes the lamp look futuristic. Great work!
Thank you!
you can feel the viking in her blood
Her eyes
OMG, I thought the same thing! I laughed at a few things because of “how” she did them but she’ll certainly get it done.
Well you guys if i must say, my dad's generation years ago were vikings, but not any viking. A kings generation i am.
She still has her pinkie 🥹
0:45 me from the future: "WATCH OUT YOUR PINKIE!!!"

Thumb up of course. Because girl like You do technical things.
Thank You Martina.
It’s me from the future, your channel will soon reach 1 million subscribers in late 2021
is it me, or has her accent changed? She seems so much less formal now ❤

Amazing work!
Yeah, this is a really cool idea, the lamp looks pretty cool ;)
Thank you!
Very cool. I'm really amazed at how clean and straight your Dremel etchings are. That's very difficult to do by hand. Well done!
As a craftsman myself, and some one that teaches others how to build things, I have to commend you on your work. Very good job! Excellent! I would purchase this if available.
John Emmons I know what you mean. By the way, that light would sell for $250 or $300.
TOTALLY AMAZING!
And your "mishap" actually made a great idea even better!
love it!!! love it!!! love it!!! love it!!! love it!!! love it!!! love it!!! love it!!! love it!!! love it!!! love it!!! love it!!! love it!!! love it!!!
GREAT JOB. AMAZING DESIGNATION ON THE GLASS LIKE ALIEN OBJECT.
BEAUTIFUL. MY THUMBS UP. PLEASE CONTINUE ON YOUR WORK.
Wow ... Love it ... PCB on a table-lamp !! beautifully nerdy ... the both things I love in one ...
Man, I love that even after 8 year the videos still has the same essence.
Красота!!! А ещё красивее наблюдать, когда такая Милая девушка творит такие чудеса которые даже мужики не понимают как это делать. Молодец!!!
Love the look of this lamp. It almost has a tron sort of feel to it and I definitely need one on my life soon.

Back in the day that was sort of required to get fancy RGB effects, but now you get decorative LED kits that will do similar things out of the box.
I admire your skill and determination! Looking at your videos I get this itch to make something, but I'd never be able to pull of stuff like this. The result looks awesome as hell, I know I'd pay real money for a lamp like that!
Склоняю голову, такие девушки редкость +++ удачи в творчестве
When I miss your missing finger. I come to watch old videos
Big thumbs up for the hard work instead of using a CNC. :D
Very interesting, and you swing around power tools and electronics with ease.
Cool Project, well performed and nice commentary. Thumbs up fo' ya girl
It's... well... doable. Just don't give up. 🤣🤣🤣 What a great line. Making that my motto
That's great, very cool!

Lei ha fatto un bel lavoro, splendido ,bravissima. aspetto il prossimo lavoro thank you.
That's Super Cool, Great Job.
Maybe you should convert it into a key chain holder or cell phone holder for the bedroom.
These remind me so much of isolinear chips from Star Trek that I might have to build some! Also if holding a Dremel gets tiring I'd consider getting a hanging mount and a flex shaft attachment. They make long tedious sessions much less strenuous

A flexible shart, indeed, Bat Fastard. Indeed.
Bat Fastard
yeah, so I missspelt shaft..... ;-)
Bat Fastard does that like attach onto the Dremel 3000?
Bat Fastard you do know what shart means?!
I am so glad I found her channel she has some amazing ideas.
You've got a Very Artistic Side in my opinion That's pleasing to the eye -I Like- LED Lights and acrylic are a hoot , messing with clear Fiber optic strands in projects is a challenge as well... Love ambient lighting !
Thanks! ;) Ambient lighting is awesome
So cool.
Make it battery powered and rechargeable from ambient solar and you could sell this thing!
Would be pretty awesome ;)
You could easily sell it even now. Although if she did that she should invest in a small CNC mill. That would make this much more profitable because she could make the acrylic plates much faster and to a greater degree of accuracy. Or she would get a plunge base for her dremel and make a template.
This is cool girl

Hey, that's cool! Give us a heads up and a pic when you've made it :)
Sure, will do. Might not be till the new year got to get a dremal but I love what you did.
I would love to see someone do this in like a full wall panel. Would be so badass!
That would be sick!
Those circuit lines are really well done, almost as if they were done with a cnc machine 😮
I like your minishort !
What a gangsta. Love this build!
Cool hand working. Looks nice :)
Thank you!
great job ,I really like the results
I love it!!!....super awesome...I wanna do it...

Stargate Atlantis vibes 😄
