Thank you for your review Dr Coco. I ended up trying the Mini Sun 2 150w next to the Viparspectra XS 1500. I ended up returning my Viparspectra. It definitely runs much cooler (my tent went from average temp of 78f to 74f. And the light is more uniform. I just have a 2x2 but the Viparspectra definitely had some hot spots. The Mini Sun being a much larger fixture with more than twice the diodes runs cooler with better light distribution.
I'm looking to get the 240 W version to flower in a 2X 2. I like the amount of diodes and figure I could run it at 40 or 60%. How is the150 watt version for flower?
I just got the 320w and as soon as you pick it up you can tell its quality. On 100 you for sure don't wanna look up. I do notice mine has a high pitch whining noise when on. I didn't see you mention anything like that. I just emailed them hoping for a reply.
I picked up the 150 watt. It does have a high-pitched noise coming from the driver what is not very loud. The build quality of this light is top notch.
Yay! I was worried you had stopped uploading videos! Could you please make a response to “How weed grow at home” claiming your recipe has too high a ratio of potassium after his analysis?
your explain alot about lighting ..great when having any questions about any variety of brands , surprising to see when the smaller company brands kill the par tests
No, it has on board dimmer and timer. the onboard dimmer is 40%, 60%, 80%, 100%, off, and external. With a controller ( any brand 0-10v ) you can get more precise dimming such as 77% ect. on board timer is 0ff (24 hr), 12, 16, 18, 20, 22 hr. and has a digital display that displays a countdown. The down side is that you can not set it to come on and shut off at a specific time. If you want it to come on at 5 am, you have to set it at 5 am.
Curious why your numbers on the PPFD map are higher than what they show in their listing on Amazon at the same height and same size grow tent. They show 550ish at the corners and around 950 in the center squares.
Thanks for the review. Does anyone know any lights of this quality in Europe? On average we have to pay more than 1€/w for lights that do not reach 3 diodes per w.
Would be great for veg or flower in 3×3. Should start at 40% and be using 60 at end of veg. Go to 80 after flip and if plants are healthy and can tolerate the intensity 100% for last 3 weeks. Something like that. 👍
I bought this light to veg in a 4x4. It has a great amount of blue light spectrum. I have seedlings under it currently and running at 60% drawing about 200w. they are staying squat and developing well. This is a experiment, But so far Im loving it !
If their customer support was anywhere near the output of the lights, maybe it would be a good buy. The customer support is absolutely horrible. The support center is in Hong Kong so expect almost 24 hours before receiving a reply (which comes in the overnight hours of the US). It's very hard to understand the support and it's obvious that English isn't even a 2nd language for the support team. And I hope you don't have any shipping issues. It's not often the customer has to deal with the SHIPPER'S issues but I did. And after almost 1 month, Medicgrow kept $112 of my refund. I don't know why as they stopped replying to my messages about 2 weeks before my order was returned. I'd stay away as there are a lot of other lights that can give you the same LED output for similar pricing BUT you'll get actual customer support. Medicgrow's support is nonexistent.
Looks really nice, sunshine in a tent, i would LOVE to have this for Christmas and New year 2023 Medicgrow and me 🎄🙏
Cyber Monday sale!!
I've got my 🛎 on & ready for this , I've been looking at this light for awhile & would be great for a 3x3 , can't wait to see the review
Been using 320w in my 3x3 for about a month now and it’s awesome. On 80% currently In flower.
@@TheOnlyKontrol how high do you keep from the top of your plants ?
@@markoxendine9748 I’ve basically had it at the very top from the very beginning since I’m growing a true sativa this run..
@@TheOnlyKontrol how is the yield?
@@TheOnlyKontrol did you have to buy the external light controller they sell for $200+ just to use the light
Looking forward to it 💚 💛
Thanks for the video, very helpful! ^^

Love my 320 mini-sun. Can't beat it anyway you look at it. Price, quality, just waiting to see if the diodes last...
I'm thinking about getting one. Are yields nice

I really wanted this light, but the hanging height is a bit too much for me and my ac infinity 3x3 lol definitely need a bar light for a 6ft tent.
I need that light
Please do a budget light Comparison as well as you did the 5x5 comparison!
Great video 🙌🙏🙏
This light puts out a lot of light
The light looks sick

Could I possibly use this in a 2x2x6 tent? I’m currently using the Maxsisun MF1000 and I want to upgrade to something better.
nice video 😍

I sure could use this 320 is the 320 American money
Would it be possible add amp draw from the light?
Yes sure
Would this be great for a 3X3 for a veg tent?

Does the indicator lights turn off after setting the time schedule?
No, it displays a countdown. 16:42 meaning thats how long the light will run till it shuts off. It also has memory in case of power outage.
