I too was confused by Harry Styles accent in DON'T WORRY DARLING. He starts the movie with a New York-ish accent, then he slips in and out with the British accent. When it was revealed his character is British, I was further confused because all his dialogue is really American. Like, he says mash potatoes instead of just mash. Very strange.
it actually makes sense tho cuz im pretty sure real life jack is american while simulation jack is british. so it makes total sense that his accent slips in and out sometimes and that the things he says is very american even though he's british.

TV critics can be basic at times. I need a TV critic to step outside themselves and speak on TV shows that don't get press or good back into some hidden gem.
I've never watched any of the top 4 never watched Atlanta. I did enjoy Fleabag but I would not rank it that high. I loved 227 as a kid! This may be controversial but I liked it more than the Cosby show. Cosby was good and I watched it for sure but idk why I just loved 227!
Now that you’ve seen the movie, I can’t believe you didn’t mention her selling the fantasy of sex with Harry and female pleasure to promote a movie with huge non consent issues. Especially since many of Harry’s fans are young women and girls. BUT you should absolutely go see Harry in concert, he’s doing 15 nights at the Forum too. (I’ve got an extra ticket for 10/8 but it’s in Chicago) Pretend to be a golf dad and he may even flirt with you. Yes his fans sing every line, but it usually enhances rather than detracts.

if you know Harry, this is exactly how he speaks. He's not doing any type of accent. It's just his voice. I don't understand the confusion.
