I have always been intimidated by this stich, but I definitely want to give a try! Maybe in the holiday advent calendar?

Definitely try! I think that winter hat with a bell is suitable for it 😉 it will create a nice knitting texture

I tried it for the FIRST time . I am going to do some more practice stitches before I attempt it on the sampler page, though. I had seen the stitch done on other projects, but this is the first time I actually picked up a milliner’s needle to give it a try. I have found that the stitch is a bit forgiving. When my wraps looked a bit wonky, I was able to “tease” the thread to lay it the way it should go. I agree, it takes practice….and COURAGE! Lol!

Yes! It takes time and after some practice your hands will remember the movements. In case you forget how to do it you can always watch my video. I had to watch my own video to remind myself how to do it after a while 🤣

Agree 👍 This is an important stitch if you want to learn Brazillian embroidery style. This stitch is used a lot in this kind of embroidery and it also used for flowers 🌺 I will show it in my next videos when I will be stitching my Volumetric Flowers Sampler Page 😉
