I'm currently in the market to get a 2016 piaggion x10 350 executive, but i have a few questions if you can help me out please. First of all, I would like to use it as a daily commuter 50kms return trip, most of it Highway (100km speed limit some places 110km ) so my question is, is this bike comfortable cruising at 110km all day long? Also how does it perform with a pillion passenger? I want to use this as a commuter and use it as a weekend get away travelling with my wife. Just wondering if this bike will be comfortable carrying me and my wife and travelling at 110km comfortably. I'm pretty much stuck in between the 2016 350 executive and 2016 500 executive.
Hei Sam, Im not an owner of this bike. (i have 3 yamaha scoots - the whole majesty line). I can tell you 100% riding it solo cruising speed 100-110km is certainly not a problem; yes, you can do that all day. Even with 2 up, if you wont go over 110km, you will be fine, however no extra power left. Its a fascinating and futuristic model... Engine reviews are very positive... 350 got more positive feed then the 500... (dry vs wet carter)... regards!
Hy Sam, yes this piaggio is very confortable. Is a good choice for what you need. The motor has much torque and you can go out with your wifi with no problem
Sam B i own the 350...if you’re going to have your wide as pillion go the 500...more power, but at the expense of mileage. if you you don't mind spending a little extra on fuel go the 500...test ride both
I'm, most likely, late in helping Sam B but I'll throw in my 2¢ for anyone else that's around. I've got a 2012 350i Exec. The top speed is around 145 and that is with or without the wife on back and both of us topping 200Kg. It will cruse, easily, all day and all night at 120 and give you a smooth ride while doing it. That's the good news. There are so many little things that Piaggio could have (or should have) done better that I was, at first, quite frustrated. Service is expensive and (according to others) not an easy task DIY. Also, if your wife is going to be a rider MAKE SURE she fits on the back seat. My wife is short and the seat & body are very wide and uncomfortable for her. If I had it to do all over again, I'd've waited for the Maxi-SYM 400i to come available with ABS. Not as good looking as the X10 but a lot less expensive and easier to service. But Piaggio, SYM, or Suzuki Bergman 400i you can't go too far wrong with any of them.
My X10 350 goes 166 (speedometer) and 154 GPS. Absolutly original.
