Funny that you had no idea this was even a thing, yet you are the first one to publish any info on the actual game other than the picture on the back of the box. Thank you for the rulebook pictures, I am so excited to get the expansion.
Thanks for this tgd. Can you provide any insight to how bloodlines will integrate with Rise of Ix? I see it mentioned but just wondering if it's partial or full integration.
Wow - there is always someone who will complain... 1. It wasn't review - it was unboxing 2. It's not a game - it's expansion How do you know that content will be different in retail? Most of the content will probably stay the same with changes like more/less tiles, different texts/effects and thats all. So guy have opportunity to share content with us and all you can to say is complain... Surely he should hide it to satisfy you... Ps. Thanks for material Ray :)
@@ukaszdworak3902What's with the hostility? Where was I complaining? I was just surprised is all. 1. I know. I didn't say this was a review. 2. Come on, that is just being nitpicky
I always try to not spoil myself with watching unboxings that show all the stuff to have a surprise for myself. But damn, I´m so eager so get this thing into my own hands. I watched the whole thing :(
Oh, I love this new "Command" thing on cards. It helps alleviate situations when you achieve high Persuasion, but there is simply no good card in Imperial row for you - such a missed opportunities may decide game winning or not. It also increases the value of High Seat Council which seemed for me a little neglable in Uprising. And I finf a new Bene Gesserit card that enables you to Pass a turn also good addition :D
I have not heard anything on this one. From there website I am only seeing this: Announced at Gen Con, Dune: Imperium - Bloodlines will be coming to Friendly Local Game stores in 2025! Thanks
Wow, could they have gotten someone who knows (and apparently cares) less about Dune: Imperium, and even less about the world of Dune, to do an unboxing? Dude can't even fake knowing the game well. What a let down. What a missed opportunity.
Did you hear that in the movie Paul Atreides had a pet cat that was not featured in the book ? .. .. .. .. in the rolling movie credits he was named Meow'Dib
@ it seems like maybe they shouldn’t have put compatible with original game on the box. The tech tiles, 4 of the 9 leaders, and more are not compatible. Seems about 40% misleading to say it’s compatible.
Everything still fits if you remove the custom inserts, which I admit is not ideal. Even with the inserts, you can use the box to store either Uprising or the base game with all of the expansions. You only need one Ix board and if you never play Solo or use the app, you can set most of the Solo/2-player components aside. I think with this new expansion, it will be a very tight fit, but it's still manageable if you make some reasonable omissions.

Ray did the unboxing, but they sent the review copy to the channel, and I was aware it was coming. Thanks.
Where I can find the rulebook pictures?

@@mightyted1 Stay tuned for the review.
But the New Tech Tiles I find highly situational and rather hard to play than the Techs from Rise of IX.
We'll see.
I didn't see the promo card. Is pre-ordering from direwolf digital the only place to acquire it?

Where does Tuek's Sietch go? Is it an extra spot on the board or does it cover a different spice spot?

Just at a glance I counted 4 tech tiles that would not be compatible with base game. Unfortunate
In any future expansions for the game(s), I would assume there are going to be some that are specifically for uprising.

Yeah I agree - had hoped for a new expansion for my base game, but this doesn't seem worth it for me.
This game is getting too complicated, the beauty of the game was its simplicity (coming from someone who plays classic base game with two expensions)
I agree. I do like how these may or may not be added based on how simplistic you want your gaming experience.
It's modular, so you can use expansions to taste.
Wow makes the big box pointless
No really. It still is perfect for existing sets.
