BETHLEHEM: A baby in the house of bread - Holy Scriptures, Holy Places

In this 1st Episode, Father David Neuhaus takes us to Bethlehem to deeply contemplate the birth of Christ: "We have come to the town of Bethlehem, to the place where Jesus was born. Let us remember Bethlehem, "beit- lehem" - the "house of bread", or, in Arabic the "house of meat."

Who is Fr. David Neuhaus?
Jesuit, born in Johannesburg, South Africa, he is a teacher of Scripture at the Latin Patriarchate Seminary in Jerusalem and the Department of Religious Studies at Bethlehem University. He was Vicar for the Hebrew Speaking Catholic Community and coordinator of the Pastoral from Migrants and Asylum seekers for many years.
