- Many parents of kids with Autism are conditioned to be numb in public during their child’s episodes. However we still need to be considerate with others, at least attempt to do something to calm things down.
.
For us, if after a while we are still unable to control the situation, we will leave especially when it’s a crowded place. That’s why we never like to go to popular places at peak hours.
.
For the new parents, we know how it feels. We been there. We used to feel so embarrassed whenever Adam acted up in public. So it’s ok if you are still worried and feel uncomfortable. It’s a process. We need to get use to it. People need to know.

Senangnya lihat Adam gembira dan makan dengan lahap. Itu tandanya Adam sehat. O ya Mom and Daddy, bolehkah saya memberi saran? Anak autis itu jangan sering diberi makanan yang mengandung gluten, seperti ayam crispy, kue2 yg terbuat dari bahan tepung terigu, karena gluten tersebut mengakibatkan anak autis jadi tambah hiper akatif. Orangtua dari murid-murid saya pun tidak memberi makanan yg berbahan gluten, sehingga hiper aktif anak jadi berkurang.

Thank you for your kind and encouraging words. My son is 9 years old, non verbal with severe autism. I understand the feeling, even with better awareness on autism many people still don't understand the condition. We live in the UK, my son attends a good special school but even with all the supports, life and living with autism are not easy. Autism is such a big spectrum but non verbal autism is just another level, we have our good days but we're always on the edge because it could change within seconds. Meltdowns with self injuries are hardest to deal with for us atm. I also learned over the years that 'we never really turn the corner but rather we live in a circle, sometimes we're on top of the circle and sometimes we're at the bottom of the circle, it goes on and on'. As a family unit, we try our best everyday. Thanks for the video and you're doing a great job raising awareness on Autism.
Extremely sorry for you, its a very big tragedy, i wouldnt handle this because im myself Asperger and want a cure for that. Would give 100 Nobel prizes for someone who invents a cure
My son is autism. I know the feeling we get exhausted physically and mentally. But for our children we embrace all things cam happen and maje sure they all well protected . I am very proud to all autism parents like you and adams Parernts. 💋 😘

Sensory overload, I just stare back and people look away. How does Adam communicate. Must be frustrated for him and yourself , expressing what he wants.

Like I said before. The amounts of love and patients that Adam’s family members have for him is so overwhelmingly wonderful and amazing. That is why Adam is so blessed and a wonderful person. And I’m glad to see that they all can put up with him. I mean I don’t think that I would last very long if I hand to put up with that kind of hyper activity

Autistic people exist, and the public needs to just accept it sooner or later. Parents should not have to keep them at home their whole lives. Autistic people should also be allowed to be their authentic selves. And if someone doesn’t like it, then they can walk away. Autistic people have always existed and always will.
Does Adam speak???? Whether he went for speech therapy and ot classes. Whether it helped him or not. I am having a son of 5 years old. Your answer may help me

Don't feel embarrassed. Others would understand unless they don't are stubborn and ignorant. If so, don't take their words and attitude bin mind as is not worth. You are great parents with devotion and love on your boy. Don't bother others, just concentrate to take care of your beloved.

i understand where you're coming from. But please remember God never makes a mistake. We are all wonderfully created by God. Jesus bless you! anyway i think the public will be understanding in general and to be frank will not really care much. They will just look at an autistic person showing unusual beahavior and proceed with their own life so please try not to be hard on yourself.
