Get the Abt Legacy instead. New Abt turbos, intercoolers, exhaust and tons of carbon. I got an allocation for mine, tango red, due in two months. Way better than Audi's attempt.

Reviewer needs to get his facts straight given it’s his job. Torque on this car and the identically engined Performance is 627lb/ft. The discontinued regular RS6 was 590.
It's a possibility that there are bigger decisions (resulting in not more power for these RS cars) that are taken inside the VW AG to protect the higher cars, right inside Audi, you've got Lambo and then you have Porsche and Porsche has some big control with Remac on the Bugatti, so Audi branded cars probably shouldn't upset their top siblings. With Merc their AMG is the top division (Maybach is luxury) on performance and BMW's M division is also top on performance (Rolls Royce is ultra luxury). So all in all in the VW AG stable there are cars that the AMG and M cars are not in the same playing level with. Not saying that is what's happening just saying RS is not the top in the group, unlike its direct competitors.
Exaclty why cars like the golf R never got 400bhp like rumoured, because it would then destroy the rs3 which is obviously the top hatchback in that VAG group and why they wont make the rs3 more power when they could easily do that as they use a 2.5 5cyl but then it will beat the rs4 and rs5, a45s AMG has squeezed more power out of their 2l 4cyl engine lol
Not having "Aero" wheels is a huge miss. Lets face it, as this is (unfortunately) JUST a "styling homage" to one of Audi's most iconic motorsport machines...and the dish wheels still are one of the most beautiful details on the IMSA GTO, AVUS 22" kinda look that they don't belong there...at all. 180k for a livery, some bits and bobs in carbon and a limited production run does not make much sense, but then again, what do I know ? Hopefully it wont be instantely forgeted like the S1... ...who remembers that ?
They haven't done enough to justify £50,000 more than the standard car. No Interior upgrades, no engine upgrades, no roof racks, no bigger or wider body panels. £50,000 for some stickers and white alloys. Seems a bit half assed to me.
The RS competition seats would cost you about 17,000.00 USD if you were to order them on your own, plus the cost of installation. That makes up a good portion of that price jump, in addition to bespoke carbon front panels, which would also not be cheap at all, even on the aftermarket. But anyone buying one of these super limited models knows exactly why they're paying the price - exclusivity and rarity. Out of 660 total offered, I bet maybe 50 of them will see more than 25k miles.

(Read bimmerpost) New m5 will have around 700hp. The power train will be the same as XM. 550e (inline 6) is already 2,3t. M5 hybrid will be 2,4t+ for sure.
I read a lot of negative comments, which i think can only be made by those individuals who either cannot appreciate why Audi have made it, what it represents, and most probably people who could never afford to purchase one.

Can't use the concepts aero blades on wheels for the street, because laws in most countries prohibit any part of the wheel/tire from protruding beyond the fenders/wheel wells.
Only watched this to see the GTO. I know it would never had happened but it would have been amazing if Audi had sent the end of the gas RS6 era out with a swan song to the original UrS cars. A stripped down version of the RS6 with a longitudinal 2.5T. Instead we get some stickers, carbon body panels, and Avus remakes.
Manual suspension also on the RS5 Comp car. 2nd Brit reviewer that missed that (RBL); you blokes reading the same brochure? Love those seats! Yes I agree they should have done more unique bits in the interior - maybe some silver (looks white) carbon fiber trim; perhaps red leather or alcantara on the doors? Certainly red seat belts! I kind of like how they did the blue weave CF and blue seat inserts on the Ascari Blue Performance meself. Honestly I’m not a fan of the manual suspension option - silly really, as if you’re really taking this rare and heavy bird for track days (also to chew up or burn up your 9K CCB’s). I think this was an attempt to make the Rs6 a special car, but it feels like it probably got stuck at management, the board or marketing department that wouldn't let them go full berzerk. I mean we know for a fact that Audis marketing department have been cancelling out the optional bucket seats for 7 or 8 years now, saying that nobody buys an estate car need bucket seats. We gotta give them props for doing it, but I just hoped they could have done a little bit more to separate it from the regular rs6 perf.
It’s got updated differentials and stability programs and the shocks should make it considerably different to drive like the RS4/Comp did. I will admit I think this should’ve been the “performance” and the last iteration should’ve built on that again with 30-50 more horsepower, perhaps a rear drive only mode and so on..
