    The same material can be bought in sheets. Buy sheets, cut circles and make tires. It should work and last longer because it will be a solid material.

    • @carwashadamcooper1538
      @carwashadamcooper1538 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      In the US That white pipe is called Schedule 40, and it's a bit brittle. for a prop shaft, they would need the dark grey type, which is schedule 80 and far stronger.

    • @hughjass1835
      @hughjass1835 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Schedule 80 is white also. The grey is either non pressure drainage or electrical conduit

  • @dimitar4y
    @dimitar4y ปีที่แล้ว +1

    hmmm there's potential about "Multi spoke" wheels. The fact that multiple tracks can adjust torsion independently of one another, allowing each track to find optimal grip. The pipe spokes are flexible allowing this effect. This is used already in springy recovery ropes - they being springy is magic of how they work better than just chain.

    I wonder if there might be a way to use the round surfaces of the pipe to be the tread of the tire? Or perhaps even go the other way and have the ends of the pipes forming the tread? It would certainly be a very different sort of radial!!!! Those would have better grip, but the key would be to secure the pipes to something solid. It would have to be on a monster scale--but who would be crazy enough to do THAT? Hmmmm. 🤔

    I used to make my bike wheels indestructible with pool noodles cutting them in half and placing them on the inside of the tyre outside of the innertube never a single puncture other idea is pure rubber tyres like with my BMX at 5 years old those tyres I literally cut stabbed etc they're probably still intact a little extra bounce however you could fix that with suspension if applied to a car obviously

  • @jessehanson8928
    @jessehanson8928 ปีที่แล้ว

    Do the same thing you did with 3 in the hub, except somehow wrap the outside of the pipe with carbon fiber, and fill the inside with some kind of really durable material like flex seal, or maybe molten rubber? Then top it all off by spraying multiple layers of rhino lining material and/or flex seal on the outside, possibly some metal wire wrapped around the inside as a "radial"
    You can get some real life out of those pipes!
