I wished I saw this video before attempting to install my KST bars. I never thought to remove the thick plastic wire cover as I thought it would provide more protection going through the inside of the bars. I spent an entire weekend trying multiple times to pull all the wires through the right side and the one time I got it the throttle sensor connector separated inside the bars. I gave up lol. But now I think I’m going to try it again. Nice vid.

First to comment! This is an excellent video. I have a 2010 Dyna Wide Glide that had a high set of ape hangers on it when I got it. I will soon change to a set of low bars from an earlier Fatboy. I will have to mill a notch in the bottom center of the bars and also on the ends of the bars where the wires exit into the controls. Your section on unpinning is very helpful. Thanks for this video!

My 2012 FLTRU has a 6 pin and a 2 pin (black and white wire) for the TBW. Any idea what the 2 are for? I do not recall them being plugged in when I took it apart.

      Heated grips

That is what I thought, but was not 100% sure. My bike does not have heated grips so I will not worry about that one. Thanks @@kstkustoms1324
