😒 Their title is the Kings of K-Pop and the Emperor of K-Pop. There is a famous saying in South Korea: Whoever does not know EXO is a spy. Their voices are amazing and their songs are strong. No band can sing their songs because their singing style is unique and they have high tones. The only integrated band is EXO, the Voice of the Nation in South Korea 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

This group right here is why I got into kpop.
Exo Debut in 2012 with 12 members split into 2 groups, Exo-K (6 korean members)performed in Korean, and Exo-M (2 Korean members and 4 Chinese members)Mandarín.
3 Chinese member left so Exo became just 1 group.
Starting from blue striped shirt,
Chanyeol- Main rapper, lead vocalist, plays lots of instruments and even produces.
D.O.- main vocalist known for his r&b voice and amazing runs. Also very good actor. Has won many awards and named number 1 idols actor
Suho- lead vocalist but many times said to be main vocalist as well leader of Exo, also actor in television and theater, known for his dad jokes.
Chen- main vocalist the guy with the golden voice. Known for his amazing voice. Married and has s kids😊.
Xiumin-lead singer, rapper eldest member of Exo, though known as fake maknar because he does not look his age, which is 33. Quiet but not really that shy. Also actor.
Baekyun- another main vocalist. Also praised for his vocals. First korean artist to sell over 1 million copies of solo album.
Sehun- the maknar of Exo. Shy but silly. Rapper, sub vocalist.
Exo known as vocal kings and their main vocal line is known as one of the best in kpop. Almost all have solo albums. That's it for now. More later.

Lay- only Chinese member and, sadly, because of tensions between S. Korea and China has not been able to perform with the group😭 He was though able to, through CGI, be in the Don't Fight the Feeling back in 2021. He has a very, very, and I mean very successful career in China. Other accolades are:
1. Started his own entertainment company.
2. Is an actor
3. A lot of the time he writes, produces, and comes up with the choreography himself.
4. Used his own money (1.4 million won) to make the Lit music video.
By the way, you should check out his LIT mv. You won't regret it. Also check Flying Apsaras, no mv for this one, just dance practice. The reason for no mv is that Lay was not satisfied with the end result. He takes great pride in his work and always wants to give his best to the fans.
4. Is an amazing dancer.
As for Kai? Right now he is doing his Military Service and will be back in 2025😭😭 (only the Maknae, Sehun, is left to do his Military Service.
Kai facts:
1. Known as one of the best dancers in kpop.
2. Has a classic and contemporary background in dance.
3. If he wasn't and idol he said he would be a ballerino.
4. A lot of idols look up to him and he is known as the Idol of Idols.
5. Has put out 3 mini albums and have had good sales. First one sold over 462,000 copies. Second one sold over 325,000 copies, and the third sold over 197,000 copies and debuted at #1 He always does like a mini film with snippets of his songs on the album. Check out the first one- KAI FILM.

Exo is called the VOCAL KINGS and EMPEROR Of K-POP. You chose the Best group to enter into K-pop . Exo devuted in 2012 and currently have 9 members.. but here 2 members are missing because one member is doing his mandatory military service and another member is in China.
There's two rapper in Exo (at the two end of the line), CHANYEOL and SEHUN. There's 3 main vocalists CHEN (The one you like the most in white), Baekhyun (the one with black and silver hair u also liked) and D.O. (The one in black 2nd to the left) and guess what they are actually the top 3 main vocalists of whole K-pop industry (officially ranked). They have 2 main dancer. But the actual main dancer is also the center of the group, KAI who is missing here. Kai is known as IDOL OF IDOLS because many kpop artists wanna be like him and see him and exo as a role model. They are global brand ambassador of many famous brands such as GUCCI, DIOR, VALENTINO, PRADA,YSL etc. They were also announced as the richest group of kpop.
All of the members can not only sing, but all can dance, rap, write songs, some are also producers, composers and director, can play multiple musical instruments, is a dj and guess what, all are actors and musical actors as well. 😄 The member who's in China, Lay (also not in this video) is called the KING OF CHINA, has his own entertainment company based in China. His new movie NO MORE BET surpassed even highest ranking Hollywood movies. Exo are the first kpop group to perform in the closing ceremony of the Olympics, first to have their song played on the tallest building in the whole world (in Dubai), they are now a “seven-million” seller group, they started many trends in kpop like crop top for male artists, face chain, one take MV, Bluetooth colourful lightsticks to connect during concerts, kpop group having a storyline, kpop dance challenge trend, rainbow hair, online fansign, military photocard and many other. 😅
😀 Fun facts about Exo:
1. Exo holds the concert tickets sold out record by selling out 67k tickets within 0.2 second breaking their own record of selling out at 0.4 second. Their concert was awarded as the best concert in 2017. 🎉
2. Exo has their own storyline of being ALIENS from EXO PLANET...which is that Exo members are aliens who came to earth after an evil red force destroyed their planet. All 9 members has super powers such as wind, strength, light, fire, water, frost, healing, thunder and teleportation. All their music videos including solo songs connects the storyline and the powers are showcased in different manners for the same purpose. So you actually get a fantasy mystery series to enjoy here. 👽
3. Exo's storyline includes Solar eclipse theory which is why they always release their group albums on the day of Solar eclipse. Ain't that cool? 🌚 They have the best discography in kpop. They're also called kings of Rnb.

There is no one that does EXO like EXO... EXO live performances are EPIC... there are many KPop groups out there but none have the unique discography that EXO has, do you like Rock they do it, R&B check, ballads check you have to check it out and enjoy the journey. I listen to nothing but EXO. The voice you liked is Chen, in the middle dress in white. he has the best diction air support and incredible chest mix. His vocals are recognized as the best in the 3rd generation of Kpop singers and even today he remains unmatched for his precise delivery and faultless register. I was heading for bed, until I saw this reaction. I’ve watched Killing Voice probably 20 times, and I’m always looking for another. !
These guys have it all:
Visuals- they are some of the best looking men in Kpop. Several are always in the best looking lists!
Acting-they have all been featured in kdramas and kmovies. DO (Dee oh) has been winning awards left and right for his acting. He was named as the best Kpop idol of all by producers!
Models-they all have modeled and endorsed name brands in watches, skin care, food, fashion!
Choreography- this is what caught my attention 5-6 years ago. It’s innovative, difficult, and often used as challenges from other Kpop groups, and fans!
Vocals- they own the title Vocal Kings! Everyone can sing. They all have solo albums out, that have smashed all kinds of records!
Concerts- their dance practices are amazing, their videos are above amazing, but their concerts are the most amazing performances you will ever see. It’s why they have a gigantic fan base. They have sold out 65,000 tickets in .02 seconds! Their previous record was .04 seconds to sell out !
Income-they are said to be the richest group in the industry. If you consider their solo albums, their endorsements, movies/dramas, twice a year group albums, Sub units ( SC and CBX), concerts, MV sales, streaming and on and on.
I don’t think investments are included. They do own business buildings, residential buildings, their own homes, some of the highest priced cars in the industry.
Start with Mama, then go to all of the performances of all the other songs in this medley: dance practices, MV’s, and CONCERTS. FYI: they don’t lip sync in concerts, it’s all live, mistakes and all.

EXO is a well-packaged group consist of 9 talented members.
They've contributed a lot to the Kpop industry and is one of the well-established groups out there.
They're not dubbed as the Korean "Nation's Pick" for nothing.

This Killing Voice performance, as the title indicates, is supposed to showcase EXO's outstanding vocals, so what you are hearing is a compilation of some of the best parts of their songs that highlight their vocal abilities. They debuted more than 11 years ago, so they have a lot of songs. You are only hearing a small fraction of them and only a few lines of each of the songs (And in some cases, they are singing lines from the middle of the song, so it may sound different when you listen to the actual song. Plus, in this performance they are missing two members, so some of their parts in these songs were different than the original versions because they had to cover for the members who were unable to participate in this program.) As you can see and hear, this is a LIVE performance with 100% live vocals.
Just FYI: In Kpop they are called groups, not bands. A band is a group that plays instruments. Although there are K-bands in the Kpop industry, most Kpop content you react to will be songs from groups that just sing and dance. Therefore, they are called a Kpop group. EXO is a Kpop group and the members are part of the group, not a band.
SM Entertainment -- which is the company that founded the Kpop industry and is one of the largest and most influential entertainment companies in Korea -- is known for having some of the best singers in the industry. You can't be an SM artist without being an amazing singer. So even the company's rappers receive intense vocal training. (Just look at EXO's Chanyeol on the far left and Sehun on the far right, who are both main rappers, and, yet, they each have amazing singing voices. How often do you see rappers that can sing as well as them?) All of SM's rappers could even fill in as main vocalists in their groups. That is why the company has gained the reputation as the vocal powerhouse of the industry. And what you are hearing is why EXO are nicknamed "the vocal kings of Kpop". Another thing SM's artists and groups are known for is for being top tier when it comes to live vocals and perfect harmonies. SM artists are recognized for the fact that they all can sing live while performing intense choreography for hours in concert and still sound flawless the whole time.
EXO is currently a 9-member group, however, there are only 7 members in this performance. From left to right: Chanyeol (main rapper and lead vocal), D.O. (main vocal), Suho (leader and lead vocal), Chen (main vocal), Xiumin (lead vocal, sub-rapper, and dancer), Baekhyun (main vocal) and Sehun (main rapper and main dancer). The two members who are missing are: Kai (main dancer, lead vocal and sub-rapper), who is on hiatus right now because he joined the military May 2023, and will be away for the next 18 months; and Lay (main dancer, lead vocal and rapper), EXO's Chinese member, who is busy with solo activities in China.
Xiumin is the oldest member, who is currently 33, and Sehun is the youngest at 29. They are seasoned veterans at this point, who are all highly respected in the industry for their talent. They have been doing this for more than 11 years now, and they hold concerts with more than 55,000 people in the audience and perform all over the world, so none of them are shy when they are singing. Xiumin's voice was breathy because that's what the song called for at that part, it doesn't mean he is shy.
Yes, "Growl" is sort of a love song, but it's not a love song in the traditional sense. It's definitely not mushy or sweet. If you look up the lyrics for "Growl," you will see they are pretty much acting like a wolf or beast that can no longer control themselves around the girl, and they are warning her to be careful because all she does is make them want to growl and grab her and possess her, etc. "I’m warning you just in case (listen carefully)

As you just saw, "Miracles in December" is a song that is only sung by EXO's three main vocalists, Chen, Baekhyun and D.O. However, you will see all the EXO members in the MV because it's telling another part of EXO's story.
EXO debuted in 2012 with their song "Mama." When you watch that MV and get to know EXO better, you will understand why D.O. was making jokes and they were all laughing when he introduced "Mama." EXO's debut and group concept is unlike anything you have ever seen before and "Mama" is one of the most epic debut songs and MVs ever created.
As the English lines in "Monster" say ... They're "Creeping, Creeping, Creeping .... Creeping in your heart babe" "You can call me Monster (because) I'm creeping in your heart babe." "She got me goin' crazy." The song's called "Monster," so the words are about acting like a monster: "Don't be afraid, love is the way ... I'm sorry, you make me sooo craaaazzzy, you know you dooooo." The song is about how they know they are bad for the person that they are in a relationship with, and they will most likely ruin them if that person stays with them. In the song, they are talking about how, I know that when we are over that I will have destroyed everything that is good about you, but I don't care because I want you so much that it doesn't matter to me. Therefore, it's good that "you can call me monster" because they are being straight forward and warning you from the very beginning, so you can't say you were blindsided by their actions.
"The First Snow" is about the magic of the first snowfall of the season and how it's the perfect atmosphere to fall in love. This song is so popular that you can hear it being played all over the place in Korea on the first day it snows, and it's pretty much considered a winter anthem that gets played nonstop all season long, especially around the holidays.
EXO's "Power" was also used as one of the theme songs, along with their song "Growl," during the 2018 winter Olympics. EXO even performed both songs during the closing ceremony. As "the nation's boy group," EXO was the only Kpop group to be selected to perform at the Olympics. If you like the sound of "Power" in this video, just wait until you see their live concert performance of the remixed version of the song. You should check out their "Diamond" + "Coming Over" + "Run This" + "Drop That" + "Power" set at their EXOPLANET #4 The ElyXiOn in Seoul in 2017.
"Cream Soda" is their most recent song that was just released in July, and the whole reason why they were on Dingo's Killing Voice was to promote this song and album, which is why the performed the whole song. (LOL, if you think "Cream Soda" is about your favorite soft drink, then you really need to look up the English translation of the lyrics. EXO are not talking about a beverage. 😉)
And if you have the CC subs on, the reason why it looks like gibberish is because there are no English subs on this video. If you click on the CC button and it says "English (Auto gen.)," this means these are subs that are designed for the hearing impaired and they only work on videos where they are speaking English. The way auto generated subs work is the computer listens to what is being said in the audio on the video and it attempts to interpret what is being said in English. Therefore, on a video like this where they are speaking in Korean most of the time, the computer is trying to find English words that sound like the Korean words that it hears, it's not translating the Korean into English. The only time the subs are correct is when there is an English word or line in the lyrics. However, if you were to click on the CC button and it just says "English," this means either the company or a fan has taken the time to translate what they are saying in Korean, or whatever language they are speaking, into English.
Although, if you want to know what any of their songs are about, just search "English lyric video with the name of the song". There are lyric videos that have been created by fans for pretty much any Kpop song that has ever existed, and you can find videos that translate the song in almost any language a Kpop fan might speak. Therefore, it's not hard to understand what a song is about. Plus, what's cool about lyric videos is they usually are color coded with pictures of all the members who sing the song with their names, so that you can see who is singing each line of a song, which may help you start to learn their names and identify each of the members voices, as well as help you to be able to get to know their role in the group. That way you will eventually be able to tell who is singing or speaking at any time without even having to see them.
