Hi Daniel, if you are using Saddle Soap to clean a leather article before conditioning with Leather Balm, then I would allow it to dry just enough. Does not have to be completely dry. If its slightly damp but you cant feel the moisture when you touch it, that's good. Allows the balm to penetrate even better that way. And never blow dry it. Always let it dry in shade indoors.
