The pal damage was a "MAJOR BUG" yeah right...
The passives you want are Siren of the Abyss/Musclehead/Ferocious/Hooligan
How could we do that though? Do we just keep breaking Bellanoirs until we get them? As far as I know there's no breeding combo that will result in a bellanoir otherwise.
@@XxHuskerKillerxX Pretty much Break them till you get the rolls and then the breed chain of Noirs start.
I knew that were some better stats but i dont even think its worth it since my pals like do no damage anymore

they've changed how the damage formula works, now instead of most buffs being multiplicative, they are instead additive bonusses; resulting in an about ~60% total damage nerf
(even for the strongest pals like gorrirat megaton implode)
hoping they revert this or i guess we'll just have to set our damage multipliers up, just to play the best days of this game

upon further tinkering, it appears to be a rough global ~62.5% damage reduction after the change in the damage formula
you can get just under previous patches damage totals by increasing the damage settings in your world to 1.5 or 1.6 (1.5 is a bit lower and 1.6 is a bit higher)
tested with foxparks when compared to previous patch foxparks and rocket damage against faleris compared to the 4secs kill wr pre patch
if this damage nerf also aplies to enemy pals against the player, than its a welcome change imo (i felt like the player died WAY too quickly at base settings)

me personally tho i liked the balance of base settings, i feel like it was truly the epitome of "normal" difficulty, nothing too easy or too hard with challenges you could complete playing normally, & if you really tried to do something or create a perfect pal that effort was rewarded with a genuinely good addition to your world or your experience
one thing i did dislike is the seemingly random amount of times you got one shot whilst riding a mounted pal but i can accept that as the world of palworld is supposed to be dangerous, both for you and the wild pals
@ayejay2688 true, but what if they made it then as a "brutal mode" or something like that, with the old damage formula
I think it was a global nerf to ready for future content for things to be stronger

you can get the new glasses in the technology tab and then you can see the potential (individual hidden values) of any pal, that's how you can get the perfect attack pal, in case of Bellanoir (i tried the Libero version) i managed to get a perfect potential with siren of the void (20% to dark and ice dmg), ferocious, muclehead, and finally hooligan (15% dmg but better than sadist which is also 15% because it doesn't nerf defense). i managed to get Bellanoir Libero to 3800+ ATK and it does crazy damage. I really recommend the potential glasses for breeding perfect pals.

I think replacing Brave or Aggressive with Burly Body is worth it, now that they updated damage formulas and HPs all the tough battles are going to require your Pals to withstand some damage

How did you get that black armor?
If you breed with Necormus you can get a Suzaku with Legendary, Lord of the Underworld, Siren of the Abyss. Which you can breed into a Helzephyr and then ultimately into a Frostalion Noct with those three and maybe lucky if you work it in. I am curious if the 40% Ice and Dark would be better for damage, I havent been able to test it yet.

They reduced pal damage a shit ton almost 50-60%. Now the vanguard builds are best

They nerfed mounts that give the player elemental effects as well. So vanguard builds aren't as powerful as you think

@CDliinky the build for belanoir is : siren, mushead, ferocious, hooligan and 4 stars.
put the "pal soul" in ATK, DEF, HP to 10.
hold 4 hocrates on the group (all 4 stars).
use the power fruit on her

Lyleen has crazy defense stat. Pal attack x ability attack ÷ target defense (i think is how that works; fireball would have been better, but her own attack continuous damage is your best choice.)
The only way to get legend on bellanoir is using the breeding mod on nexus that lets u use jetragon to breed with bellanoir librio

For some reason I only get females from the eggs. Every...Single...Time... If I may ask, how many times have you defeated her and hatched eggs to get both a male and female to finally start breeding them? Oh, nevermind you answered it in the video. Lots and lots apparently. lol! Guess we're expected to farm and farm and farm and farm just for a male. Guess I need to get back to work. I gave up after several females in a row I started assuming you could only get females right now.
You can get males, it's just that is around 5% chance to get one.
It took me 32 libero fights to get my first male. You’re in it for the long haul brother

@@CDiinky seems to be a universal damage change, not just Bellanoir. I think the multipliers got changed to be additive

Try it again with the 2.0.2.2 update as the fixed the damage
are there male variant for bellanoi? all my bellanoir and bellanoir libero are female lol
They increase defense of bosses
they made all skills weaker now, lightning strike doesnt one shot everything like it used to anymore

bro the damage change is so weird and annoying. I was nearly minmaxed before the patch and after wanted to fight shadowbeak and I could literally spawn my perfect jetragon and go afk with neither of us dying but I couldnt bring myself to do enough damage to kill shadowbeak in 10mins even with switching pals to maximize cooldown effectivness. I much preferred how it was before when i did enough damage to kill him in a reasonable time but had to play actively and switch out pals to stay alive and keep them alive. they just made the overall gameplay much easier but the hp is simply to high, but then again the game has the very extensive world settings so I might just change some stuff up and be fine again

Both lucky and legend are impossible at the moment.
They have increased the bosses defence

You just get a regular Bellanoir

You can't capture her, but you DO have a chance to get a Bellanoir egg every time you defeat her... AND they can hatch as an alpha!
Pretty sure after each time you kill her you get the egg to hatch on yourself

@@Kuryou_Ka There's a 5% chance every time you hatch to get an alpha. It could happen the first time you hatch, or it could take 50 tries.
I've seen two streamers now that got the alpha the first time they hatched.

Normal bellanoir is weaker than Libero version, Libero have the most high atack in game for now and also is meta. Dont waste time in normal Bellanoir.
Dont think any pal is meta rn, player damage is so much better
