    Chrono, would you ever be interested in doing a broad video on headphones for gaming? The Audiophiles Anonymous stream on the subject is a bit outdated and mostly focused on higher end equipment, I'd love to see what your takes on the headphones, headsets, and maybe even IEMs that are most popular for gaming are

    I actually gave my son my old Beyerdynamic DT880 to replace DT250 he used for years. It's funny you are reviewing their gear for gaming.

      probably not, besides its not comfortable which defeats the purpose of being a gaming hp

    Beyerdynamic MMX300 worth a review.

    I wonder how this would compare against the Sennheiser Game Zero at $99? Specifically, I just snagged the Game Zero new for $97. Would this still be the recommendation over that?

    I have heard a few reviewers say the headset is uncomfortable. I have used mine for about 2 months now and haven't experienced that. I have smaller ears, but a big head. MMX 100 sounds really good for $100, the only "GAMING HEADSET" that sounds better is the PC37X, and 38X. They are easy to drive, no amp really needed. Do they sound as good as my HD6XX that I have on an amp? Absolutely not. They are convenient though with the mic on it instead of adding more wires with an antlion mic, or antlion wireless. They work awesome plugged right into a controller as well. I really like these in my experience.

      I’ve not had the chance to listen to the PC38X myself. At least comparing it to my experience with the PC37X, though, I think that I’d personally choose those over the MMX100 because even though it’s a bit more expensive, I do think you get a slightly better soundstage and a tonality that is, in my opinion, more game-friendly.

    • @grd_
      @grd_ 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      They compare them to closed backs only, which makes more sense in my opinion.

    You'd think they would have understood the assignment by now. Take DT 770, add a removable mic ??? Profit.

  • @lucashoffner6192

    Out of these 3, which would you choose for mostly gaming?
    Tygr 300r
    Dt 990 pro
    560s
    If I missed a better option for price let me know. Thanks!

    • @mclarenf1lm374
      @mclarenf1lm374 ปีที่แล้ว

      If you're still making a choice
      the 300r has incredible soundstage but might not be the best in terms of clarity and tonality
      the 990 pro pierces eardrums
      and the 560s sounds decent in all metrics for the price

      Industry standard measurement rigs cost at minimum $10,000, so it's understandable that this isn't something most reviewers have access to.

    This can't be better than the new DT 900 Pro X for gaming, right?
    I know there's a price difference, but that seems to be one of the best, if not the best, headphone for gaming + they're great studio quality headphones.
    For gaming the new DT 900 Pro's are outperforming the PC 38X, HD 560s, and the Tygr 300R in many reviews. See here: th-cam.com/video/NOOWCen9UK4/w-d-xo.html&t

    • @TheHEADPHONEShow
      @TheHEADPHONEShow  2 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      The 900 pro x is not what I'd get for that. I'd probably go tygr 300 r or 560 S

    • @saucyg6371
      @saucyg6371 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@TheHEADPHONEShow Because of value or that the dt 900 pro x simply aren't good for gaming? I'm my case we are talking competitive fps games such as Valorant.

    garbage headphones just watched all the reviews hyping it 👎
    If you want a 2feet long audio cables and a headset that only fits manlets this is the one for you
    volume doesnt turn off completely with wheel
    cable noise whenever you move
    Audio quality is about as good as my generic chinese headphones for $30
