Stakuyi: Plays in such a way, that Poland remains a free nation.
The Internet: Happy Taureor noises
We all know what stakuyi really wants, Mad Baron World Domination
@@heavyhebrew yeah… im
Would this be giving up Danzig and eastern Poland?
I'm Polish and I approve this timeline.
What if stakuyi didn’t pee in the towel warmer?
Get this on the top this instant!
Mmmmm...yes.... it's an interesting to say the least
I can't believe stakuyi was the bay towel pisser😔
Not possible this is a universal constant
Impossible. Canon event
Attempt 17: (Using the Great War Redux again) What if Italy honored the Triple Alliance and eventually joined the Central Powers when WWI comes around?
Come on comments section, get this man as part of the poles.
Why not the Great War mod?
I thought he did that one already?
Norway: Hey, the war is over, so can I have my land back?
Sweden: No.
yeah this is probably more likely tbh
What if WW3 kicked off in 1956 with the West coming to the Hungarian people's aid during the Hungarian Revolution and going to war with the Soviet Union?
EDIT: I suggested this several times before but nobody noticed until World War III was mentioned...
Or 1968, responding to the Prague Spring
Man, I am so glad to not exist in that timeline of eating rats and roaches to survive while hiding from the cannibal rape gangs.
@@heavyhebrew How many nukes do you think both sides even had at that point?
@@andyfriederichsen the problem then wasn't production, but delivery. While the USA would have ridden it out relatively intact Europe would be a smoldering glowing wreck.
And we would still have the collapse, nuclear winter, etc. even with a limited exchange. Look up the studies of a Pakistani-India exchange, which would be a microcosm of what we are talking about. Our world would be screwed.
@@heavyhebrew Nuclear winter sounds like BS, especially if it's not a global nuclear war.
"Europe would be a smoldering glowing wreck." Not really.
Sweden: 'Okay.. Hear me out.. We will support you, but we're also giving you armoured Volvos that go very fast.'
Finland : 'I love it!'
wroom.
What if germany focused on the east instead of the west during the first world war to capture the wheatfields of the Oekraïne to counteract the food shortages caused by the british blockade
Edit: 250 likes , let's go, thank you all for the support.
This could be very intresting!
Just imagine that they didn't go through the benelux and fortified alsace, thus holding back the french and delaying the british intervention.
Also what if they stoked ethnic tensions to cause uprising when the war starts, promising them independance in echange for assisting the German advance.
All in all a cool idea!
That would probably end bad for the Germans
The rhineland would be exposed which is. a lot of the German industry the British would never allow the Germans to dominate Europe also they were expanding their navy making the UK feel threatened
Lots of the French industry in the north was destroyed which helped massively
Though I agree. It's an interesting scenario
michael i can see you are dutch
They would burn the crops , deny thy foe !
Main frontline was on the West side. Imagine if in WW2, Germans pulled divisions from the East to defend in Normandy - it would be utterly ridiculous. Plus tsar Nicholas was doing covert diplomacy with Germans at the time anyway (through noble connections, through diplomats "bumping into each other" in Sweden, yadda yadda), with Germans reciprocating because they'd much rather focus on the West, believing that one more push is all they need to capitulate France, their main foe
2:29 stakuyi personally provided finland with planes during the winter war
What if Oswald Mosley came to power in the UK?
Hail Mosley!
That would be the spiciest dish England ever served
Britain would stay out of the war
Unseasoned chicken

Here's one that I've seen Axis and Allies players do, I'm not sure if you've done it. What if "Kill Japan" first was the strategy in the West instead of "Kill Germany" first? We know Europe was given priority by the U.S. in our timeline but what if those resources were dedicated to Japan primarily with Europe given the token troops and resources? I think Operation Torch would have still happened but the invasion of Italy might be delayed.
I love this
This really is an interesting question, and as far as plausibility, it make a lot of sense. There were people in the US high command who advocated for it also.
Long lines of resupply - with subs everywhere...take a boat trip to ireland..then compare to a boat trip to japan...it's just a really bad ideas...u.s. and bits...have command and control of the seas , shipping works...
@@Thom4ES Well it wouldn't be ignoring one in favor of another, just prioritizing one over the other. There would still be battles in the Atlantic and as I said speculated, Operation Torch, but they're be a greater focus and dedication of resources in neutralizing and defeating Japan to avoid any distraction of the pacific from the main theater in Europe.
If I was to consider what may happen in regards to Europe, would be to surround and blockade Europe, including Italy, and saving ground invasions for later post- North Africa while the Japanese are being driven out of Europe and perhaps even invading Japan itself.
The thing is, nobody outside of US really gave two shits about Japan. So Japan would need to do some other dumb thing to offend the British, like attacking Australia or something.
But there is another issue. While the Allies would be busy playing chase with Japan, the Soviets would steamrolled Germany out of existence and we'd get Soviet Europe. Which is something the Allies don't want to happen.
So for US to focus on Japan first, Soviets would need to do significantly worse in Europe and/or there'd need to be significantly larger threat of Communism taking over Asia.
What if France intervened during the Rhineland militarization of 1936?
What if Japan decided to honour the Anglo-Japanese treaty of 1902 and join the allies (this would involve not invading China, maybe not even Manchuria)?
This would probably mean another Ruso-Japanese war, and very likely the Soviet union would be on their own when Germany attacked. Might be USSR would manage to get back to their borders, but could just as well mean the fall of the Soiet Union in 1950.
There would be no space race and the nuclear arms race would be decidedly onesided.
What if at the start of the Siberian intervention, Japan finds Alexei Romanov and makes him a puppet ruler of Siberia to justify their ongoing “intervention”?
Yes Alexei Romanov is assassinated in July and the intervention starts in August, so either move the intervention forward a couple of months, or have the Czechoslovak Legion rescue Alexei and bring him to the Japanese.
Either way, Japan should remain in Siberia after October 1922, with enough legitimacy so that America doesn't embargo Japan or force Japan's withdrawal, & Japan can pay for the “intervention” with Siberian gold/iron/gems/fur.
Or, alternatively, one of his sisters, Grand Duchesses Olga, Tatiana, Maria, or Anastasia, survives and is married into the Japanese royal family giving Japan a claim over all of Russia.

Idea: What if Republican Spain (somehow) won the Spanish civil war and declared war on Germany at the start of operation Barbarossa
Spain gets annexed in under a week.
What if Bulgaria won the second balkan war?
Bulgaria is a country in the southern part of the Balkans, which borders, Greece, Turkey and some other countries that I can’t recall at this time.
They meant what if Bulgaria won
@@Lionheart-mg7qf I know, I’m just being a smart ass lol
@@dauphinstudios2956No, I'd say you're just being an ass.
What if the Warsaw Uprising actually succeeded?
I've had a very stressful day today. Thank you for relieving some of that stress 😊.
I told my Finish partner about this one and both of us are very excited! Torille ❤
My first thought about why Sweden would get fully involved in the Winter war would be if the Soviet air raid that hit one of their cities/towns did way more damage and seriously ticked off the population.
As for my own what if;
What if the U.k had actually made its move to take Norway before the Germans did?
Soviets invaded Finland to prevent the formation of anti-Soviet "Northern Alliance", actually, as well as to deny Finland being able to provide anybody with a staging ground for an invasion of Leningrad. You can see this from diplomatic exchanges published by Russian and Finnish researchers. Even so, Sweden DID send a lot of volunteers, but Soviets have managed to capitulate Finland quickly enough to avoid French and British from sending 100k soldiers there. By the peace terms, Finland was banned from joining any alliances whatsoever, including Swedish one
All-in-all, Winter War was the reason Sweden didn't participate in WW2
What if the Ottomans survived after WW1 (they still lost it but weren't beaten afterwards) (14)
What if the UK kept all Dutch colonies after the napoleonic wars
This was really interesting to watch, I'll need to check out more of your HOI 4 stuff if it explores more of the "what ifs" of history
30:13 The most shocking point in the video is when the Switzerland joined the Allies.
2:53 hungersköld means hunger-shield
Love the vid stak PS I would love to see you do a crusader Kings 3 video
I like these videos. I particularly love the moments like with the swiss here when something completely unexpected happens because this is still a war game not a history simulator. I highly doubt that a finnish/swedish sucess in the winter war would have influenced the swiss to break their neutrality.
33:47 I love how the Soviets start justifying on Finland right at the end of the
Sabaton gonna have a whole lot of more moment to make song out of
Damn your from Kentucky? My mind immediately went there when you said our weird town of Versailles. Cool to see fellow Kentuckians on TH-cam.
What IF Portugal didn't do the 1939 Friendship Pack?
Ps: A very interesting situacion to Spain... and could the Portuguese interest and actions in Africa, Asia and Brasil have grown during WWII?
I really want to see this. It's so unique.
What if...
The allies/UK invaded Greece instead of italy
They would have been mincemeat.
Where is the stellaris video stakuyi we need to see the story of catlon
What if france opposed Germany (including the Spanish Civil war)
Hi Stakuyi! If you think it'd be worth it, I think a playthrough of the Youjo Senki Redux mod would be fun to see. Please? It would really make my day. =^x^=
What if the Orleanists was restored in France?
Happy Fathers day!
i might be a little late tho...
What if the Faisal-Weizmann agreement came to be before ww2
I think it might be interesting to see what Rommel would’ve done if he wasn’t killed or if a coup put him in power. Not sure if they have a scenario for that in the game, though
What if France denied the remilitarization of the Reinland
As a Finn I have been told a quote a while ago and it went something along the lines of "We have concoured just enough territrory, so we can have space for the graves we need" If someone knows the exact quote or saying, please remind me!
What if Hannibal captured Rome after Cannae?
What if the great depression never happened?

What if the Polish Peasant strike escalated possibly to a civil war because of the strikes being suppresed with violence

What if America stayed fully isolationist - no lend-lease, and no Pearl Harbor?
Well, US wasn't fully isolationist, they were still trading with people. I mean, them stopping their trade with Japan is what triggered pearl Harbor.
Anyway, Communist Europe is what if.

Masacuering anything on sight - so just like in our timeline ? :D
Day 5 asking for the cats in Stellaris
Katzenreich?
What if Austria won the Austro-Prussian war using End of a New Beginning mod
YEAH BABY that's what I've bin waiting for that's what it's all about
What if Stalins purges were way worse
Bro how could you make the purges WORSE???
What if the 2nd Sino-Japanese war either didn’t happen or ended earlier (before Pearl Harbor)
Dang, and i really wanted to see what would have happened if sweden joined the winter war
What if Germany Accepted USSR into the Axis
Not an alternate history scenario, but could you try to find which country can give you the most recruitable population? I don't mean which country can field the most manpower, I mean which country's focus tree, doctrine, and political alignment allows you to recruit the highest percentage of your country.
What if India declared independeance before WW2 started?
What if Stalin wore glasses
yesssss, I like the theme, but, what if Finland didn't go through with the continuation war? (I know there would be less action and all, but then they wouldn't loose the Petsamo panhandle!)
I started the video, and I agree with that part about context, and I think that is also why maybe this scenario that I proposed now Î is prooobably self-explanatory and not much that could be shown in a hoi4 video, but in the case it was just a delve into the things that happened because of the continuation war and such it would be more interesting because they would be less dependant on a happy yappy relationship with ussr and prolly could just ignore the dumbahh germans which would get finland a better standing ON TOP of the part where they could basically just ignore the ussr a bit more.
There was some serious talks going on between Finland's and Sweden's government at the time, to placate the Soviet Union.. About Åland becoming Swedish, and Sweden and Finland joining up, but Finland would keep it's autonomy in everything but international affairs. Of course the Soviet Union rejected this, as it REALLY didn't want Finland closing any ties with "Western Powers". It wanted Finland for itself, and anything else was just playing for the international audience. Sweden was also really careful not to provoke the Soviets too much... The Swedish population though was very anti Soviet/Russia, as it was the historical enemy to everyone. And every kid had heard sometime during his childhood that "if you don't behave, the Russians will come for you". By this time Finland had only been it's own country for less than 30 years, Russian for about 80-90, and before that Swedish for 600+ years. So for many Swedes it still was seen as Sweden in some ways...
just came back from louisiana and he uploaded 1 minute ago
I want this timeline. Could you imagine? All of this. Basically a better timeline, all because Sweden helped Finland. Why couldn't it be us bros?
Since apparently noone said anything about it yet, I noticed a tiny spelling mistake in the very beginning. "Financial Staus". Nice seeing human editors here.
Good ol’ Treaty of Versails
What if the second world war happened in line with the Italians' thought when the war would break out, giving both the allies and axis the chance to build up?
What if the 1956 Hungarian Revolution successful. Potential idea for how could be if the last radio broadcast of Magyar Rádió Station's request for aid and paratroopers over the Transdanubia Provence's was successful.
What if pearl harbor happened a year later
What if Scandinavia united to fight off the Germans?
Sniper on the thumbnail be like: Nothing is true. Everything is permitted.
never been this early to a video ever but i’m loving this series so far
same
What if chamberlain senior succeeded in his attempt to form an alliance between Britain and Germany. Either by chamberlain’s proposal having no possible way to be deceit/ the Germans just doing what chamberlain wanted and also rejecting the traditional procedures of old diplomacy in the first meeting about it, or by Britain realising what the German proposal actually meant, Von Eckardstein not misleading both parties, and Chamberlain not making the English position seem weak and for both parties to stop over-analysing each other’s proposals.
I clicked on this video when it said zero views! I am the first to view! (Other than Stakuyi and associated editor(s))
Finally this scenario!
What if people in the Turkish government wanted the Ottoman empire back & started a civil war (which is how it start when wanting to form the Ottoman empire, I think)?
28:10 they could actually achieve higher encirclements if the russians poorly redeployed and were surrounded with no mobility backwards to retreat as all infrastructure is set on deployment to the front all retreats may be worse causing higher losses
here is a new one, What if Bavaria Broke away from Germany in 1937?
What if the Lowlands were united when facing WW2? Actually, WW1 would also be interesting
What if the falangists crushed the carlists and won the spanish civil war?
I don't remember if this was an alt history done already but what if Czechoslovakia had refused the annexation and mobilized its forces?
What if Japan won the war, by being in the Allies and diplomatically asking for the pacific islands, but Germany still loss.
What if Soviet Union allied with Japan after fall of Germany?
what if germany sued for peace after their defeat at stalingrad? They would be in a much better position during peace terms due to not having the total collapse of their country
Stalin would laugh into their face.
What if the USA and Germany both sign a Non-Aggression Pact with each other and thus avoiding fighting each other in WW2?
What if just everything went crazy (just the most insane paths for every nation)
What if the cousin Alliance happened before WW1. (German empire, Russian empire, and British empire)
What if Sweden joined the Central Powers?
21:50 - A bit of a fumble. Oh well.
From some reason Stakuyi never shows the obvious and extremely likely option of Finland conquering the world with only 1 division.
I hope this can get enough likes before the rework of Germany comes out but what if the Berlin Moscow pact happend and Russia joined the axis side in ww2?
What if stakuyi rigged one of his voting poles to play a scenario he wants 😂
What if Poland actually chose a king?
(Video 25) What if the United Arab Republic was a success? (Egypt/Cold War mod)
What if the Soviet Union got to annex Finland after the winter war?
I think Karalia was supposed to go back to the Finns. Probab;y St. Peter'sburg too.
What if the Carlists won the Spanish Civil War themselves?
i really hope with the new patch the AI will finally put some effort into taking out Sevastopol and control of the black sea... the USSR just always lands in the port and makes a weird pocket there, and its so annoying to watch the AI bleed needless troops.
What if Britain joined the Central Powers,
... because of the mutual fear of Russia
Glory to Finland.
I wonder if you could reason that the reason Sweden joining Finland causes Germany to delay barbarossa is that: Mustache Man, seeing how bad Russia was suffering in the winter war, may delay the operation and support the Finns as a means to further bleed the Soviets so Germany can fight an even weaker Soviet union 6 months later than planned.
First to the Finnish Line.
