These are my favorite g body .... I had a 84' Grand Prix Brougham cream color with dark brown 🟤 interior and vinyl top all original. I had paid $3,000 that's crazy

Love these years body style of the Grand Prix. Need to black out the Crome and it will look like the grand national. Nice car.

I just got my hands on my dads old 85 after years of begging him to sell it to me. I always stop and give Grand Prix’s attention. Normally it’s not for value, but a labor of love with us. We cherish our Grand Prix and it shows! I am about to start working on mine. Might make a channel out of it!

I had an 81 GP, an 85 GP ans now I have an 87 GP with the 4.3 V-6 and early fuel injection. I love the 80s Grand Prixs. Best looks and lines, instead of a total box! Comfy as can be and 20 mpgs in the city. Only thing I would like to change, would be an automatic overdrive transmission, 700r4 if it will fit

My 86 cutlass had a parasitic draw. I think mine was coming the stereo or the cigarette lighter port. You may have to live with it. Just drive it more👍🏿

I'm absolutely not a fan Of Pontiac's from the 1970s and 1980s but you got a good lookin rig there.

Corvette C3 wheels do help the overall look of the 1981 Pontiac GP

Watched the video about the trans swap. I have a 72 Cutlass with a stock 200hp 350 rocket. With all that you have done to your 350, how many ponies do you think it’s putting out? and how easy was the th350 to 2004r swap?
Also, what’s the exhaust? Sounds wicked!
Also, you could probably do the timing with a vacuum gauge.

I think it’s making around 380-400. Haven’t had it dyno so not 100 percent sure. Trans swap wasn’t bad, just had to wire up the lockout torque converter. The TV cable is a pain in the rear, but I have a manual valve body so it isn’t used. The length of the two is the same so no issues with driveshaft. 2-1/2” dual exhaust with shorty headman headers. And yes you’re right about the vacuum gage
