I know the acting isn’t that great, but the lesson behind this is very important. I developed a prescription medication addiction in my sophomore year after some how injuring my back. The addiction worsened over the year, and by Junior year, it was obvious. I would stumble down the hallways, my emotions were erratic, and you could see it in my face, skin, and eyes that i had been using various different types of drugs. By Senior year, I picked up Molly, ecstasy, and cocaine. Someone who I was not friends with was concerned about me and told the school counselor, and she brought the DEA in to not only have a 1 on 1 conference with me, but they held a school wide assembly on prescription pills, cocaine, and heroin. I had overdosed on adderall on April 26, 2017, and that’s when I decided to turn my life around. I’ve been in recovery since then, but have been completely clean since February 23, 2018. I had completely broke down, and took 15, 2mg valiums. I was in class, and had 21 more with me. I texted my friend and after class let out, she flushed them for me because I couldn’t do it myself. I couldnt even enjoy the high like I used to because of the amount of guilt I felt. Drugs are a terrible thing.
I know it may not fit in here but I have the feeling I have to tell somebody. I really wanna become a singer. And it always brings my down when someone give me the feeling I'm not good enough. But I keep singing bcs II LOVE to do it. Its like breathing yk?..
