    Very exciting. I pre-ordered one yesterday! What excites me most are the higher powered preamps. The only thing I wish it had was 32 bit float, so I don't have to worry about setting the wrong gain.

    Why do you think they keep adding ways to tweak the audio and different effects but don't have a parametric equalizer? Like on a Midas M32 or really any digital board, you can do a mic/sound check for each person and just cut out the bad frequences - but it's harder without a parametric equalizer. Thoughts? Would this be a good selling feature?

    Does this present itself as multiple USB devices to your computer like the GoXLR does?

    • @LiveStreamingPros

      Won't know the final answer until we receive the public firmware, however, if it's like the previous RCP, it'll just be ONE USB device, but you can record multiple separate channels to your DAW.

    Love it!!! from what i see this is the mixer/interface I've been waiting for. no cloud lifter required, XLR and 1/4 ich inputs, ethernet, compact design. I am really hoping for the ability to plugin a USB mic also. To preorder or to wait, that is the question. Cant wait to see the full review and hands on.

    You technically do not need to use a cloud lifter or fathead wit head with the roadcaster pro. It has Built-in Phantom power as it is. I currently own the original and I absolutely love it and I'm not too keen on switching upwards, But the Bluetooth thing is something I'm really interested in Seeing that you can have multiple Bluetooth hook UPS simultaneously.

    The device I received had a dead pixel on the screen, and neither rode nor its retailer has fixed this until now. Perhaps other users should take a closer look at your screen.

    • @LiveStreamingPros
      @LiveStreamingPros  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      That's certainly something that can happen with any screen, and since it's still under warranty you should have no problem sending it back and getting a replacement. 👍

    • @dannyzhou365
      @dannyzhou365 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@LiveStreamingPros After a difficult conversation with the rode retailer, I drove dozens of kilometers to get a new unit. The LED backlights on the new device's two volume knobs are seriously skewed. The dust cover of the volume rail is broken. This is indeed a poor quality product from rode. The retailer is no longer offering any services. I'm negotiating with rode's after-sales service on this matter.This new product from rode has proven to be of poor quality. rode shouldn't be selling a product with so many flaws to its customers.I live in Australia and as far as I know rode is a local Australian company and I also buy from a local rode retailer. Both product quality and customer service are poor. Maybe that's the Australian value.

    IMHO it is too bad that they did not choose display buttons on the right (like a Streamdeck) so the assigned function would be obvious, especially with multiple pages of buttons. Can software sources (browsers, apps) be assigned to faders?

    • @LiveStreamingPros
      @LiveStreamingPros  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Agreed - that's one of my biggest gripes, and I'll certainly talk about that in the full review. Regarding sources - I don 't believe so but I'll test it as soon as I get the firmware!

    Yo that mount on the bottom is sweet! I've got my original RODECaster on a laptop stand, but with the smaller form factor of the RODECaster Pro II that'll free up a bunch of space. Now I'm really looking forward to getting mine!

    Probably not going to buy one at $700. But if it ever goes on sale for $450 I might consider it. The GoXLR seems nearly as good, came out in 2018 and retails for $480, which I still think is too expensive given that you can get so many other quality options below a $250 price point.
