I just don’t like the fact that you can’t control the duration of the Ken Burns movement. Sure you can create a compound clip and create hold frames, etc but Pro Zooms makes it so much more efficient IMO. Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment 😄🙏🏼
Question: I place "pro zooms" on top of the clip, yet i don't see the "on screen control" to adjust the framing of the zoom, i keep having to restart FXCP in order to see it. Is this a bug or glitch? I'm running FXCP 10.5.4 on Catalina..love ALL your plugins btw
Hey Tommy! If the on screen controls go away, you may need to double check that the effect is selected on your video, or that the title is selected. Unfortunately, I personally haven't been able to test on Catalina, so I am not sure if there's an issue with that specific OS, but typically when the OSC isn't showing up, it's due to the effect not being selected in your video inspector. Hope that helps!@@tommy33355
Its a great plug in for sure! Thanks for showing us more of the versatility of it. I really enjoy seeing how skilled editors provide us with quick tips and tricks.
OK! This is amazing! FCBro needs to hologram you a coffee or 2 for doing this video showcasing these features! Back in the day I used ProShow Gold on a PC to make slideshows for clients. Great software at the time, but this plugin could be huge for a personal mini wildlife documentary I'm about to start work on. Great stuff!
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣@@dylanjohndickerson Who can we ask to do some VFX on that scene from the first Harry Potter movie where Professor Quirrell unwraps his head, so we can put Dylans face there 😂
Thanks so much man! That background is actually from MotionVFX’s mKBHD pack. You can learn more about that in this video I made: th-cam.com/video/0qiXOFfMrbQ/w-d-xo.html
I have tried a number of times with different credit cards from India. For some reason, the payment doesn't go through. Wonder if I can make a purchase from some other portal. Thanks
Your initial framing of the shot is your start point. So you could adjust the scale of position of the clip before adding the Pro Zooms plugin, and that would be your start point.
I haven't experienced this, but it depends on what effects you have stacked on top of each other. How many adjustment layers are we talking about and what is usually on them?

Pro Zoom looks great, but Ken Burns is free and when you need it, it does the job.

Dude such a great video!!! Seriously appreciate you sharing this. If anyone has any Q's, you can ask me here!
I have a question? When do the "Ask Final Cut Bro" devices start shipping?
@@Brad_West Once we can figure out how to properly clone me.

My pleasure! I really enjoy making videos about plugins. Any other plugins you would like to see videos on?
I use this plugin in all the time. Excellent and excellent value.
Yeah agreed. It’s a super affordable tool that is insanely useful 🙌🏼
A truly great plugin that solves so many issues AND creates creative opportunities.
Yeah 100% agree! 😄👌🏼

Haha I had a coffee with him just before this video came out!
I use it on my wildlife channel a lot! You will enjoy it!
Cheers!
We did also have breakfast together. And lunch. And dinner 😄 What a cool dude! What a great plugin 🙌🏼
Been waiting for something like this. Thanks for bringing it to everybody's attention. And, well done FCB!
Glad you enjoyed it! Such a handy set of tools 😄👌🏼
great plug for a great plug-in, thanks brad and thanks FCB!
You’re welcome!
The FCB's Pro Zooms & Pro Burns plugins are the bees knees!
Yeah it’s a super handy set of tools!
I bought it a few days ago and this tutorial is just in time Thanks!
Awesome! Glad you found it helpful 😄🙌🏼
Nice plugin !! Thanks for your productions to you both. From Paris !
Thanks so much! Truly appreciate that 😄👊🏼
Great explanation! 👍🏻I like this plugin a lot 🤩
Great to hear! Thanks for watching 😄🙌🏼
So so good, Brad 🙌🏼 I always new Dyl was a murderer. How dare he kill Ken Burns like that.
He lurks in broad daylight among us with his deceptive smiley face! Keep one eye open when you're around him 😂
His long hair covers Voldemort's face hiding on the back of his head @@Brad_West

Hey man! Great tutorial and video. How do you accomplish the effect at the end with the dark background with the dots? :)

Awesome alternative, Did you use this plugin to create the zoom into the tv at 0:30 ?
Yeah I did. It’s super versatile 😄🙌🏼

That's strange. I wonder if you can use PayPal. It would be best to reach out to @thefinalcutbro (Dylan Bates) directly. 👊🏼
Dylan is awesome!!!!
Yeah he’s such a cool guy 😄🙌🏼
So cool!!!
Thanks Raphael! Always cool to see you in the comments 😄👊🏼
Ughhhhh it's you again. What do you want?
👀
I had so much fun making this one! Especially the hologram 😂
But it looks like pro zoom plugin can’t specify initial cropped rectangle like kenburn does 😅

@@Brad_Westthanks for the tips, I’ll try it out ❤
My fcpx slows down when multiple adjustment layers are on place. Has been this an issue to anyone else?
I haven't experienced this, but it depends on what effects you have stacked on top of each other. How many adjustment layers are we talking about and what is usually on them?
I was interested until I saw you gotta bye it! Sorry but just no money for that gonna use KB effect for free.
Yeah it's not for everyone.
I find this plugin almost unusable because its operation is too complicated, so I deleted it again.
I guess it's not for everyone. Works well for me.
