    I would put a warning at the beginning of the video with time stamps to skip for people with epilepsy or that are prone to seizures. The flashing lights could be very dangerous to some. Just a suggestion!! Love your videos

    My son used to get nose bleeds just as often right around the same age. After two years of trying everything we finally got a referral to an ENT specialist. He needed a quick nasal cauterization that took less than 5 minutes. He's been nose bleed free for a few years now.

    I grew up in Sacramento and I had daily nose bleeds. I totally know what he's talking about, you taste it before you see it. I was always told it was because of the dry air and allergies. If it's dry outside or if I work out, I can feel when the air is dry and a nose bleed is about to start. My advice: never tilt your head backwards (even though that's what so many people say) because it actually makes it go down your throat, and if it's really bad then use ice on the bridge of his nose to help clot. If you need help getting blood stains out of clothing or bed sheets, my mom swears by mixing dish soap, hydrogen peroxide and baking soda into a paste, then using a toothbrush to rub onto the stain, let sit for 10 minutes, then throw it in the wash. Hope any of that helps!

    My best idea for Kyson is to go visit an ENT specialist doctor! My sister had a cut in her nose that nobody knew about that would continuously reopen and bleed, we were clueless for years why she was having so many nosebleeds but an ENT solved it! Also, it could be something as small as the room he sleeps in may be too dry? as fall & winter are coming etc, so try a humidifier? sending love and good vibes to the whole family!! hope you guys get it figured out.

    I'm 23 and still get nose bleeds when the Fall/winter dry weather transition starts but I'm in Cleveland so the weather is a bit more unpredictable here, we had snow the other day. But one important thing to remember is to pinch the nose and put your head down not back, if you put it back you just end up swallowing it all...gross. Medically, putting your head down allows the blood to clot and stop the active bleeding.

    My daughter used to get nose bleeds all the time. Hers would bleed in the night while she was sleeping as well! I took her to the Doctor several times because they would last for at least 30 minutes and bleed a lot!! I gave her teacher little cans of Donald Duck orange juice to help her not to get a terrible bad headache from losing so much blood, and her teacher would let her sleep for about an hour after her nose bleeds. She finally out grew what ever was causing them and is fine now, thank God! 🙌

    My dad almost died from nose bleeds. He had many procedures but what finally helped was putting Vaseline in his nose. Just a small amount on a Q-tip and rub it in each nostril. His was due to dry climate. He would do the Vaseline one a week or so but it ultimately did the trick. Hope this helps.

    nose bleeds; ok so get his eyes checked for glaucoma. sounds so weird but I suffer from chronic migraines and nose bleeds, like really bad nose bleeds. I have glaucoma in my one eye and it puts pressure on blood vessels and it causes the nose bleeds. also I'm extremely anemic and that causes them too. but the chronic nosebleeds could be from an underlying condition.

    Idk if you’ll even see my comment but I’ll try. My oldest son gets frequent nose bleeds and has since he was maybe a year old. We asked his doctor about it and they said his nose is naturally dry. His nostrils don’t create enough moisture like ours do so it dries out and causing bleeding. Have him drink water when he gets one. My son is 15 now and he still gets them but he’ll go get water when it happens. It has helped them be less frequent. The doctors say there’s no cure for it. It might correct itself later on but so far we’re 15 years in so idk.

    We have a kid at the preschool I work at who gets nosebleeds all the time. First aid with this: Put an ice pack (wrapped in a dishcloth of course) on the back of Kyson's neck, have him sit down, bow his head down slightly and pinch his nose shut for a short time every so often.
    The ice pack helps a lot because it makes the blood vessels contract so the bleeding stops more quickly.

    • @kennie727
      @kennie727 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I’m not sure if this is what you meant, but I thought I’d clarify in case people get confused because it is important: It’s better to pinch the bridge of their nose then pinch the nostrils shut! This way the “patient” can still breathe easily & the pressure is more directly on the veins and blood vessels instead of the airway! Hold pressure for a few minutes, checking to see if the blood stopped periodically….
      -nursing student ❤
      (Some of my classmates/friends who get nosebleeds often swear by putting a heat pack on their feet or sticking their feet in hot water as well, there’s no scientific evidence that it actually helps nose bleeds specifically, but it does help draw blood away from your upper body)

  • @meiraloraduncan8953
    @meiraloraduncan8953 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    Spray the blood stains with hydrogen peroxide, before you get water on the fabric because it will cause the peroxide from working, with a rag or anything that you don’t care about it getting messed up underneath the area with the blood. The peroxide eats away at the blood and will remove it completely. You might need to spray it multiple times, but it really works. Then wash as you normally would. I learned this trick from a nurse who was drawing blood for testing before my chemo treatment, who accidentally got blood on my new clothes. It also will remove the stains from period leaks. I had a student in my first grade class who got really bad nose bleeds at least twice a month during the school day and more at home. He usually got them in PE class or on the playground. He had a really severe bleed that we had to call his mother to bring clean clothes because he looked like he had been attacked by a murder. I got nosebleeds when my blood pressure was too high. I woke up covered in blood.

    I also get bloody noses all the time and have haf my nose cauterized multiple times. The weather definitely effects it and going from hot to cold temperatures also causes them. Hydrogen peroxide gets blood out of clothes miraculously well. Just something we will have to deal with!

    Vassiline at night in the nose helps keeps it moist and can help prevent frequent nose bleeds

    Hi Jess! My brother always had nose bleeds and we found out that he had an open socket of blood in his nose so if it gets more consistent then i would go to the doctor!

    When I was 11 I had a nosebleed so bad that it bled for 30 minutes straight. I almost had to go to the ER because I lost so much blood, but thankfully we finally got it to stop by putting ice on my nose. I ended up being super pale and tired for the rest of the day after that but the next day I was fine.
    My husband gets nosebleeds a lot too. It happens at least once a week. Idk what it is, probably weather like you said. 😅

    Try saline nasal spray when the weather is dry sometimes it drys out the nose causing nose bleeds. The AC and heater all dry out your nose. Using the nose spray for a few days should help keep the moisture in.

    I am a severe nose bleed sufferer. I know in the Midwest the humidity is poor so I have a humidifier in my room and in my house. Also if possible take him to an ENT. They will hopefully prescribe him a medicated Vaseline type stuff to put in his nose. But be careful if you have to got Covid tested for any reason that medicine will have a false positive if they use the nasal test.

    Jess if he gets heavy bleeds, cold water on the back of his neck will help stop the bleeding. I used to get them when I was younger.

    Has he been to the doctor for the nose bleeds? I would personally want it checked out. I personally get them and went to an ent. She told me mine was in one nostril I have a vein very very close to the surface and so any dryness or rough nose blowing can cause it to bleed. I have to use this gel called Ayr in that nostril and a cool mist humidifier nightly. Such a bummer that he has to deal with nose bleeds at his young age.

    Jess my middle son always had nose bleeds. He actually needed to get his nose quartorised. I may be wrong with the official small procedure. They put him to sleep then do an operation to help with the nose bleeds. It worked really well. As far as I know since being a grown man. He's not had any trouble at all with his nose bleeds. 😍😍

    If Kyson is always having nose bleeds I recommend putting a humidifier in his room, it happened to my sister and we put a humidifier in her room and it stopped

    It can be from dryness. Try a humidifier in his bedroom at night and nasal saline spray during the day.

    I have the same problem but for me it is due to hot weather. Eventually it gets better but always have tissues and stuff with you
