its more sad, Solomon built the 2nd temple with the help of alot of Demons with the idea that they could get redemption if they help built it. Some exorcists also asked for what purpose they were orginally created.

They knew exactly what they were doing. They profaned Gods purpose for them. Spat in his face. They were without sin and had become sinners. They were unredeemable and remain so to this day.
This movie was a mockery of the biblical account. Complete and utter satanic accounting. Noah in this movie, embodied Satan and the demons were playing victim. They knew exactly what they were doing.

It was written sometime between the first and the second century.
The death of Ham's love interest was in my eyes the worst part of the movie. Most people think it's the watchers, even though their existence is attested by the book of Enoch (though not accurately portrayed in the movie). But in the former case, it's explicitly mentioned in the Bible that ALL of Noah's sons already had wives that accompanied them on the ark. The movie tricks you into thinking that the same will take place as well, but then punches you in the gut for a dramatic death scene sake.
In this film, only Shem had a lover, while Ham's was abandoned by Noah, and Japheth was too young.
While in reality, the sons of Noah had their wives also in the Ark.
@@Emanuel-oz1kwWell that’s not the Noah of the Bible so I’m sure you can understand the confusion. This is essentially a separate flood myth than the one in the Bible
Also Noah is 600 at the time of the Flood while Shem, Ham and Japheth are 100; Lamech died at 777 (5 years before the Flood), while Methuselah died 7 days before the rains of the Flood fell, and was 969 years old. So many inaccuracies.
Looking back to it, all i can think of is how unlikable Ham was for turning against everyone due to losing his chance at sticking it somewhere... and how hard it is to completely label him as bad and traitor xD
I personally was very disappointed with this movie. I went to it thinking I was gonna see basically how it was reccorded in the Book of Genesis by Moses, (Moses wrote the 1st 5 books of the Bible), but sadly they turned it into what I would call a bad version of Lord Of The Rings.
I wish these Hollywood directors, even if they're atheists, would do Biblical movies following the story written in the Bible, like say how the Ten Commandments was done; though there were inaccuracies in that classic film as well, but the point is is that that classic movie showed respect for both God, and the man he chose to do his work, and this Noah movie made a complete mockery of the entire story.

You're getting chills at the idea of the Fallen Angels going back into heaven? This never happened in fact they petitioned to go back into heaven by having Enoch go up there and give YAHUAH the petition and he said no. He said you will not be forgiven and you will not be allowed back into heaven because they went down and had sex with human women which is completely forbidden and created abominable monsters and Giants as a result. It's amazing that you are getting chills off of a satanic and agnostic film that has nothing to do with real Biblical truth.
Demonic Hollywood's pretty good at that isn't it this movie portrays God as an insufferable being that punishes creatures for trying to do good. Which is such a lie, he punished creatures for destroying his creation. Fallen Angels never went back, they never will go back, and they will burn in the Lake of Fire for their transgressions and for their deceitful behavior. They followed Lucifer and tried to take over the kingdom of heaven and give Lucifer the crown and make him God bend over throw the creator of the universe.
Have fun with your chills, if you guys are going to lead you straight to hell if you don't start paying attention to what the Bible actually says.

The one detail about the flood everybody seem to miss was that, the waters within the earth bursts out of the ground. It is a Geological fact that the great river systems are located beneath the earth.
But what could make the pressure underneath rise so much so as to make that break through the earth?

It is possible the a comet came in and hit the Earth so hard that it fractured the land releasing water
from beneath as well as massive tsunamis sweeping across the planet. Looked like it was a pretty bad day...

As a Christian, I thought this move was entertaining and unintentionally hilarious. Anyone who goes to a movie expecting it to be a faithful adaptation of the Bible has not been paying attention to over a century of movie making.

with all due respect i dont really agree. As a christian there are definitely a fair share of christian movies that are not accurate at all but theres definitely some good ones out there.

I actually dug this movie. It wasn't trying to be a biblically accurate movie, it was deliberately going for a fantasy type world that was based on elements from the bible. I prefer that tbh, it's a more original take.

I usually hate the "it's a movie" rebuttal but it is all based on an alternate historical fantasy.
If the Bible is real (which alot of its histroy is, it calls Ur the City of Abrahams Birthplace, Sodom and Gomorah were dug up filled with brimstone by Archeologists, the Destrution of Babylon were prophesised in the Bible and it was so utterly destroyed that not even pillars are left of that ancient city, like it said it would 800 years before its destruction in the Bible). than we would have no Idea what cities and cultures were like pre flood, but you can make a case they were decently advanced.
That was before the Flood came and reset humanity.

The truth is when methuselah died God gave Noah and his family the customary 7 days of mourning. In that 7 days the Lord and the angels got all of the animals on the arc. Then Noah and his family got on the arc. Then God sealed the door. Then the rain started.

The irony is that's actually what happened. In the bible, Noah's sons were married to cainanite women, which is how both the holy and unholy made it through to the other side of the flood.

Technically and truly we are all sinful rebellious people who do NOT deserve Heaven but by Gods grace through faith in the Son Jesus Christ’s death/ resurrection we have eternal life because all our sins are punished and paid for in full through Him which means that Gods justice remains Perfect having no sin go left unpunished and it also demonstrated the greatest act of love for us!

If such a universal flood occurred, we would expect to find varying accounts from throughout the world dating hundreds or thousands of years apart. As a matter of fact, that's exactly what we've found: over 200 universal flood myths and legends in different cultures all over the world, even in Mesoamerica whose ancient peoples couldn't possibly have any contact with the beliefs of ancient Babylon.
As a Christian and student of God's word this movie smelled like the Sulphur and brimstone of hell.

This movie obviously was adapted from the bible but this is more of hilarious than supposedly amazing.
So, in this scene the guy that has his men charge at the ark mentioned Giants. There is a book that many writers from back then wanted to keep it out of the Bible. Its called The Book of Enoch; which mentions giants, and mythical stuff, and hoe the giants cane fron the fallen angels that went with human women.
Also, this movie sucked like the desert drying up water bro. Lile, they tried to make it elder scrolls or something. In the Bible, Noah's sons already had wives in the ark, and I do not think an army of men chased them down to go into the ark.
Third thing, in the Bible, God causes the flood to wipe out everything on earth because of the many sins were happening there; He saw it as "A non-perfect world" since the people were making it like that. So, he had Noah not only bring the last believers, which were his family, but also two of EACH animal on earth because God believe the world can also have chances. And if yoy think about it, when Jesus died, God was this close to destroying the world again. Now ask yourself, why didn't he do it; because for me, I have a good feeling Jesus showed his Father that there are good people out there who are willimg to believe, or do the right thing.
Last thing to add is nobody knows how the flood started; in the movie it shows that it came from under ground, but I dont know about that. Theres a saying, God works in mysterious ways.
Anyway enough of my ramble. In summary, this movie was basically made in Hollywood and wanted to try and correct people about what Hollywood believes in, not what Christians believe.
The one most people have over looked was the wickedness of man, God's justice, and his grace towards Noah Gen. 9:9-13

Hmm, I don't remember giants that looked like that in the flood story. Not that I take it literally, but I compare this movie to the original account and it's way lacking. Kind of like the movie about the Trojan war Brad Pitt made. That one didn't use to participation of the gods in it, it was sadly lacking.

A nice action-packed movie full of suspense and drama!! However on the flip side, not a whole lot of scripture involved in this movie. Even though it's about a major figure in the Old testament or the Torah. A whole lot of nonsense in there.

Great action fantasy. Not historically accurate at all.
Only hollywood could in stark depravity mess up this story. Very little of this story is accurate.
I feel like the rock monster giants were a giant middle finger from the writers/director to the believers in the audience. It’s kind of like, “well, dipshits, if you want to believe in a flood and an ark that carried all the animals, then we’re going to throw in some rock biters, too. Suck it. You’ll buy tickets!”
