I started Qsymia 3 months ago. SW 251, CW 225 (however I've committed to staying off the scale for June) GW 200. At first I was elated. I had no desire to eat. Snacks did not call my name and I had to force myself to eat, or at least drink my protein shakes. (got to get that 1gm of protein per lb). Minor side effects like headaches and of course drymouth, but nothing that was a deal breaker. I started at the lowest doze level and went up to the 7.5 Phen level after 2 weeks and unfortunately my food cravings came back. Not as bad as before, but the drug has not been as effective as it was in the beginning. I am tracking my food intake using Lose It! and do exercise in the morning most days: weight training followed by cardio. It's not a magic bullet, but it's helped.
He has lost some weight but I came back to this video because he has been complaining about numbness in his hand. I don’t know if it’s a side effect of the medication because he said it started when he was taking his braids down.
@@pattistenger8770he started the pill at 7.5mg he was 280lbs and had 46.3 % body fat. He hasn’t really been able to stick to a healthier diet. He is 15. The doctor said he wouldn’t crave sweets anymore but he still eats them.
Ive been on Qsymia 7.5 for just about 2 weeks and other then screeing up my sleep pattern and causing constipation it really hasnt done anything for my weight or hunger.
struggling with weight, i explored options. This video introduced Qsymia, a medication with phentermine and topiramate. My interest grew as it explained how Qsymia functions and its potential for appetite reduction. Considering my journey, I'm cautious about medications, focusing on holistic health. The FDA approval and prescription requirement are noted. While intrigued, I lean towards exploring natural methods for my well-being.

Numbness in the hands is one of the side effects.

Nothing wrong with natural methods. There's certainly a number of options that way too.
