Watching them rehearse this show in Tulsa was my first live drum corps experience, and it changed my life. I ended up marching Blue Knights 2 years later and have been a professional drill and visual designer since 2006. This season, I'll be writing and designing for a World Class corps for the first time, which is a 20+ year dream come true.
I marched 2nd trumpet in this show. I could never understand why the crowd was so hyped during this show until I saw the finals video. I had two more years of drum corps after this but I joined the Navy after tour. Didn't think anything could top this in my drum corps career. That crowd made this entire experience worth it.

First year I got to see Finals live. Between Cadets and Cavies it was a toss up. The crowd was all pretty stoked that it was a tie for the win. The shows couldn't have been more different but were both awesome. This music came from Disney's celebration and fireworks program at Epcot.
Definitely one of the top Cadets shows for me. Their edits and arrangement of the Disney Millennium Celebration music is much better than the original music in my opinion.
Both the winning shows this year were amazing. It's hard to really argue against the tie. While my favorite is Niagara Falls I wouldn't be able to pick a winner from these two.
Interesting fact. Your heart rate reaches 180 even before you start the show. At the end your at 222. Most people would die a sad death but these kids power through it. Mostly I just blacked out and rely totally on muscle memory.
I'm not sure who you are, but it sounds like we both marched this show together.

I loved the drill in this show but I thought you would really like the anything you can do I can do better part😁😁 This is what I call the back and forth from drum line to guard to horn line one upping each other. I am very excited to see Tuesday’s reaction to a WGI show that will blow your mind 🤪👍

@@davidjack7418 thank you and it is my pleasure as those of us that have marched in a corp or performed in WGI have always loved getting people who are unfamiliar with the activity hooked as it is a way to keep the activity alive that is so important to all of us… Highly was my choice because I already loved his honest and fun reaction he was doing to other material so if anyone has recommendations please let me know as I am trying to give him a variety. I still have about 14 on my list to give him but would love to have any shows from the Recent years that are not Flomarching videos Religion 2016 Carolina crown 2016 and later blue Devils 2017 and 2019 Busan Crusaders as a start👍
