I used to work on Albany Street in Boston's South End back in the 80s and would ride my bike past the building that is shown in the introduction as St Elegius. The address was/is 11 East Newton Street.
Thank you for posting this entire episode. Really a wonderful one. The series, which I watched part of at the time, got much better as it progressed. This aired during the show's last year (1988) and is a gem. The early years were spotty at best.
As a native New Englander, I also loved that this entire ep was filmed in lovely little Peterborough, New Hampshire. I have eaten at the Peterborough Diner - Dr Westphal is seen standing/walking from it - many times and visited and loved this pictured-postcard little town.
