Thanks for the assessment of the situation "GolfClapper". Every thought as to getting cars under shelter was abandoned in favor of staying very near our selected shelter area, until the Tornado Circulation had passed. By then it was too late, the hail was already in full swing. Not to mention that the cars would have blocked all the doorways along the storefront, with lots of people inside. And hail was bouncing intact sideways off the cars as well. Covering your head would only partly protect
I was using my iPhone 4s to film. It was not easy to stay still with the hail ricocheting all over, I just tried to hold it relatively steady. And yes, we had warning that a Tornado was potentially approaching, for about 20 minutes, so we were seeking shelter from it, not hail. We had heard there may be some hail just before we left the office, but didn't expect golfball to softball sized ones to hit our area. Thanks for the comments!
I live here in North Texas and was here last week for these storms. Had my brand new car that is 7 months old destroyed. Still don't know if it is a total or not. Got to love this TEXAS weather haha
i seen a hail storm this bad once before. i was tripping on mad hatter when it happened and thought the world was ending. i called my wife and starting saying my goodbyes and warning her of what was coming. eventually i stopped tripping.
That easily could have blocked every entrance to the building. He doesn't own all of the entrances to all of the buildings in the complex. What's worse? Breaking the law and getting an immense fine? Or hail damage?
Thats a hell of a storm. Thank you for posting. Thats awesome!!
It was relentless. Only in the Great Republic of Texas. Great job on the video!

My coworkers on Freeport Parkway got their windows smashed out, the hail must have been a bit larger there.

Absolutely sucks to see this happening right before your very eyes
watching ur car/ truck being shred into pieces and there is NOTHING you can do :(
The day that EVERY SINGLE car in the New Tech parking lot was destroyed.
Sounds like someone is deep frying a chicken and watching the rain
