44 years of being an exceptional pilot! 11 years with the Kenya Air Force and 33 years with the national carrier Kenya Airways. 21,335 flight hours to his name! I got to sit down and have an amazing, hilarious, informative, inspirational conversation with the recently retired Capt. Chris B Kariuki. Thoroughly enjoyed this one!!
65 years strong.. This is his 1st ever interview!! 🔥🔥. #ThePlayHouse #cta101

Calm and collected.an officer and a gentle man through and through.happy to hear nathan is all grown up now.did catering on his early early birthdays all the best to you and your family sir.GODS BLESS🙏🙏
The level or research and preparation you invest in your work A-Star is quite apparent 💯💯 it's the true definition of excellence (this ain't a flatter)... I'm a fun of interviews although I don't have much exposure but I can tell you are an outlier 😎. (Btw start training Kenyan journalist on this area)
God bless your talent Sir!
Great skipper
I agree! Richard you need to give an interview Master class. You are really good at interviewing. You are also a good listener. A skill which most interviewers lack.
A very good and candid interview, Chris is coming out like the likeable guy next door despite his high profile.
Made me want to be a pilot high key such a chill fun job
This interview is top content. Very good story teller too, Captain.
This man is purely addictive
December 1988. I was 4 months old 😁
Bwana A-Star its Na-nyuki not
Nya-nyuki 😀😀 I am thouroughly enjoying this interview
This was also me for a long time🤣
I've reached the 3rd video expecting a very serious question would be asked. Did he ever know the true leadership in the coup? Ochuka was a junior fellow to have such an elaborate plan.
Did this guy fly an f-18 or was it just a picture?
The best flight story have ever watched !!!
Sure
Kuchambua books n discipline
Are sent abroad to other countries to do this usually a pilot must has an assistant of better rank to monitor him hardly do u find a plane driven by one pilot.this is incase he falls ill
Kenya doesnt have F18,but F5,thats what Capt Kariuki were piloting.I dond think Kenya will have F18 in our lifetime. Its expensive
How does pilot navigate the jet when it is on ground coz there is no steering on ground to control
Pedals
tuned 'suprsonic'
If there new flights like 777boing that was introduced worldwide n has new technology
Boeing...
At what age dis Capt Kariuki join KQ
Yes your alowed to folow ur career as a kenyan but you cant overspeed in the airspace, there other planes using the same route n can course a collusion.
Pilotes dot drink alcogol n are checked regularly for medical issues, theres a schedule for long haul flights n change pilots and keep updating there miles regularly to check compitence n change new designs as u keep raising upgrading ur rank.
Lies! Pilots do drink alcohol.
🤣🤣🤣lies I've worked with Russians they use to drink daily and fly daily
Are you a pilot...?
Lies...who daent drink😄😄
Pilots are the biggest drunks Ive met...but only off duty
😂😂😂
