  • Come along with me to Port Douglas in Far North Queensland, Australia on holiday. On this vacation checked out a whole range of things to do, saw world landmarks, found many great places to eat and stayed at the beautiful Sheraton Grand Mirage Resort! I have listed some of my favourites below:
    Things to do/things to see:

    - Port Douglas Sunday Markets
    - Barron Falls/Kuranda
    - Four Mile Beach
    Places to eat:
    - Melaleuca Port Douglas- this was my top pick www.melaleucaportdouglas.com.au/
    - Watergate Restaurant
    - Hemingway's Brewery FNQ
    - The Mexican Port Douglas
    - Grant Street Kitchen
    - Cafe Fresq

So beautiful and such a shame that you had some cloudy weather. It's so stunning with blue skies.

hi Erika :) i have just subsribed to your channel :) great to be onboard and awesome video :) at the resort, where there any spas/jacuzzis? And was the pool warm, like bath water warm or a bit chilly? I was looking at this resort to book for our honeymoon :) we have nothing like this here in tasmania. also are there many restaurants/bars at the actual resort? and is it walking distance (or is there transport), into the main shopping area of port douglas? Thanking you so much :)

Did you hire a car for the whole time? I’m going but I can’t justify a car when I know some days I won’t even use it 🤷‍♀️

This is really informative, thank you! Was the hotel standard high? Clean pool? I’ve seen other vids and it looks a bit green and read some bad reviews recently. Was there a swim up pool bar? Also did you have to wear masks around the resort at all? I’m from Sydney so we have been pretty strict here but prefer not to be wearing masks in humid, hot weather if possible plus it will be a 5 year wedding anniversary trip so want it to be special :)
