Tyler Booker is a second day draft pick. Do not over draft a player,Booker is a clear 2nd Rd. pick. I've never been comfortable picking a guard in the first round.
Booker, I'm a huge fan of. I don't care if we trade down or take him at #18. Spending a second round pick on a TE seems rich. Not a fan of Burke. Had a down year and he is simply not the player Woolen is. I know Brandon doesn't like Woolen, but trying to replace him with Burke is a total no go for me. I do like White in the fourth. Overall I'd be fine with this draft but I think Fannin and Burke can be much improved upon.
I don't think Harold Fannin's game translates to the NFL. One scout said it best: "Route tree heavily manufactured through screens and schemed touches rather than NFL-style concepts". You can get away with that at Bowling Green and 40 feet between hash marks. He seems like a really good kid though. I hope he succeeds. Just don't want my team taking the risk.
I agree with what you’re saying the only thing that pulls me away is I saw Riq give up on plays. You can have all the athleticism in the world but if you don’t have that dog you I don’t want you.
fannin has been going crazy at the senior bowl his route running has been top tier, he was able to block good enough , and snagged a good 1 hand catch TD in a 1v1 drill
There are 4 or 5 offensive linemen I like in round 1, but it's unclear which ones will be available at 18. Probably have to see how the Combine goes to get a better idea of what order they will go in.
I'd rather see them select an OT in the first round, or trade down in the 1st to get a late 1st round OT. Play that OT or Lucas at G. Schneider isn't going to draft a G in the 1st. Then select Majors or Monheim as the backup C in the late-middle of the draft. 2 OL and 1 NT in this draft would work. They could use 2 LBs and 2 Wrs in this draft.
Love Finnan, he is "my guy" in the draft. People talk about Warren well, Finnan was more productive than Warren last season. Also I dont think the "bad competition" holds up because some of his best games were against Penn state and TA&M where in both games he had over 100 yard receiving and a TD and around a 90 PFF grade. And as a Bama fan I am just not on board with Booker in the first. I do think he is a "safe pick" but we said the same thing about Haynes. I feel like he was just a guy at alabama. Never looked dominating the way a first round LG should. I hope someone like you mentioned or Wyatt or Zabel jumps him and we take them in that spot because they feel significantly more impactful (in a good way).

I don't see Booker being a scheme fit for Kubiak's offense. I would think he prefers a more athletic and mobile player rather than a road grader. They also have to draft a defensive lineman in the 1st 3 rounds for sure...lots of talent out there this year.
If the Seahawks go with a big O lineman FA signing, I expect them to go for the big NT out of Michigan round one and going with a guard or center in the second round. Brendons draft is good, and signing a top O-lineman in FA i see as less than 50-50 considering what these guys demand in money these days.
If edge rusher Mike Green from Marshall is gone at 18th pick. How about Wolverine NT Kenneth Grant. I would be more comfortable taking a Nose Tackle than Offensive Guard in the first round.
If we really want to get us help, lets sign some top-shelf UFA offensive linemen. Many of them are on The Cowboys. Schneider never wants to sign top shelf linemen. So, my plan is to have Jerry Jones sign Schneider as his GM. This will piss off the OL on the Cowboys, and they will want to leave. McDonald can convince them to come to Seattle.

I don't agree with these, but still I interesting trade deals I saw on the net for Seattle to move up for a QB. Geno and first to raiders for 6th, dk 1st and 3rd for titans #1 overall pick..and grabbing Cam Ward. Personally I like to see Geno with the team longer and maybe getting a QB to develop. So when might you talk about what you would do with the team for the off-season.

The Seahawks have never used a TE enough to warrant taking ANY TE before the 4th rd. Our TE's are not used enough. Just like drafting a slot WR in the 1st rd = slot WR's are NEVER taken in rd 1. My point is we waste so many high draft pics on ROLE Players. FYI, 50% of ALL first rd pics are BUST.

Finally, only 5-6 teams per season, have above average TE's and get used a lot more than we have EVER used a TE, this means less plays for DK etc... so why pay DK more money to get us less DK action. You can't have everyone get 100 yards a gm etc... You must set your priorities, and 25 teams set their priorities as WR's FIRST, then a RB, then TE So a TE in rd 2,3, is insanity

I know it's hard to do these mocks, too without knowing where are comp picks are. That changes everything when you know
