Futurama is one of if not _the_ smartest comedy TV show out there, so it makes sense for it to insult TTG.
3:33 I've seen bits and pieces of this show. I can understand Beast Boy acting like this. I can imagine Cyborg doing this, but I don't understand it. Robin has no excuse. Especially when he very clearly has a thing for Starfire. If this episode had to be made, which it didn't, they could've handled it a lot better. What if there was in-fighting between Beast Boy / Cyborg and Starfire / Raven. Then Robin could've been the logical mediator in the generic battle of the sexes since he is a guy, but, and I can't stress this part enough, HAS A THING FOR STARTFIRE!!!!
Robin had a thing for Starfire in the original series as well. But in there, Robin wasn't trying to be a simp and Starfire wasn't ignoring Robin. Both had a feeling against each other in there, but not too intense in the level of dating too much.
At least OG series handled their relationship very well. GO made it a shitty joke and another reason to make Robin the butt of all jokes.
I've watched this episode before, not really knowing or seeing the problem with it (just always thought it was kinda cringey) but i rewatched it last night right before Regular show...... 😬 yeah I think I see the problem now. Yikes

Honestly, a New Teen Titans animated series in general with a different cast would be great. Tara Strong, Khary Payton, and The Rest may have delivered great performances in the 2003 show, but they Really overstayed their welcome in the Go Reboot.
For me the worst episode was "Terra-rized" THEY RUINED MY FAVORITE TITAN IN THAT EPISODE. Took her from being a caring girl who just was afraid of herself and led down a bad path to a villan who was a jerk and hated beast boy! PISSED ME OFF SO MUCH TERRA'S STORY IN THE ORIGINAL WAS INCREDIBLE.
I agree. I was really touched by Terra and Beast Boy's relationship in the original too.
They were really sweet and what really made Terra go to slade was Beast Boy telling her"Slade was right you don't have any firends". Blackfire was kinda ruined in go as well but not as badly as Terra.
NinjaGirlSakura1 I agree. Seeing that was like a whole punch to the gut for terra. Plus a lot of the females like jinx, raven, terra, and star were my favorites. Then when I complain how this show ruined them my parents tell me to shut the hell up and watch some actually funny shows that people will remember unlike Steven universe, gravity falls, teen titans, and star vs. the forces of evil.

You know, when my friend and I first saw the Waffles episode, my friend hated the song. So I bought it on ITunes and annoyed him with it for a day. I think I'm the loser in this situation because I payed $1.30 for that song.

Adventure Time has episodes that deal with dementia and the sorrow of losing someone dear. Steven Universe deals with persecution and sexual identity. My Little Pony has episodes about organizational blindness and self-loathing.

When TTG first started, I could at least tolerate it, but as time went on it just started to piss me off to no end.
6. It's like having a discussion with a Pokemon... except Pikachu would provide more of a discussion than these two dunces.
5. The resident gross-out episode, not as bad as other gross-out episodes of cartoons (at least IMO), but this one is pretty much the TTG equivalent of "The Splinter" hand's down.
4. Boys vs. Girls is basically the kind of plot you'd see in a 90's cartoon that seems to have escaped the 90's.

One of the most insulting ones, which isn't just insulting the fans of the original, but even insulting the intelligence of the target audience by claiming that high-brow humor is "sophisticated" and "fancy" all while basically rubbing in the faces of the fans of the original the the original is gone and isn't coming back.
1. Oh boy, where to start? It basically says that adults are not allowed to watch animated shows and only children are allowed to watch animated shows, because apparently adults are only allowed to like live-action shows and movies because "realism" because children are stupid according to them, and the creators even stated in an interview that they think kids are stupid so they make the show incredibly stupid. This episode offends me, it offends everyone... Why? Because the writers are obviously relying on extremely archaic and outdated stereotypes that died out in the 90's and early 2000's that animation is strictly for children, as if they're from an alternate universe where South Park and Adult Swim don't exist.

IMO I think they are more so TIME LOCKED in the 80's. They had an episode where they THOUGHT where they thought they were to have a lesson: A literal 11 minute filler episode on how to buy and maintain real-estate. Or the various references to 80's pop culture and movies that are more slaps to the faces of anyone who actually liked things such as The Goonies, Ninja Turtles, The Breakfast Club, MLP, or even other DC related shows.
I get sometimes mindless entertainment can be fun, but not to this degree! I put myself through this schlock just to see how bad it can get, but I honestly think the worst episode is where Beast Boy goes into the woods and pretends to go to college. That one...was just a damn insult to ANYONE who goes, went, or even thinks about going to a college/ University for a higher education just because they are "wasting their time and money for something they can get for free and a 'useless' piece of paper that reads Diploma." Well I can tell what these writers never did after graduating high school. (Or even if they didn't and just flunked out.).
I don't know whether to give this show to a scientist to study or a priest to exercise it, but even with that...Even if we do try stop watching it they just put it in our faces almost every hour of the day that you might as well not even watch Cartoon Network. CN...just let this show die and give actual shows a chance.

I'm an 11 year old kid, and I can not handle this show. I'd rather watch team umizoomi on nick jr. than this. At least it treated their 4 and 5 year old audience with intelligence and ability to learn

Cartoon Network doesn't know what they're doing. If you're making a show aimed for kids, don't make it bad on purpose! Kids have a cringe reflex too, they just don't like sharing what they think is cringeworthy. Instead they sit through the entire cringe fest denying their true feelings. I know this because I went through this when I was a kid who actually liked TTG.
Honestly I can argue with that. Teen Titans was mostly a dramatic series but you also had episodes about Beast Boy getting invaded by alien tofu or the Titans entering parodies of famous TV shows and movies. It wasn't all serious and even TTG doesn't understand that.
If they wanted it to be aimed at kids at least make it good like Tom and Jerry or Something modern like Star vs. FoE, but that's asking for too much.

I couldn't agree more with you Strider. Teen Titans Go! is a show created with no love or respect of the original early 2000s series. The writers of this show are massive hypocrites as they're the ones making a show that bastardizes the Teen Titans brand and the fans that dare to enjoy the brilliance of the original whilst claiming superior animated outings with _great_ writing, _great_ characters and a _great_ story is some how keeping modern cartoons back. It's as if they're in some kind of black hole of ignorance and the refuse to let the frequency of truth shine through.
The potential silver lining to this is the upcoming Samurai Jack revival. I encourage everyone who reads this comment to support the upcoming release of season 5 as this will not only be a testimony to Cartoon Network letting them know that we the audience want sophisticated story telling rather than cringe you would see in a Newgrounds flash animation by a 5th grader.

Steven Universe-Funny with great characters and I laugh at the random jokes even, really funny humor, and one of CN's best shows if not there best,
Adventure Time-Good but sadly is becoming worse and barely shows on CN anymore. The biggest dissapointment is the fact that it used to be CN's top show,
The Loud House-Good but there are afew fart jokes and burp jokes that can get annoying, but I care about the characters, Lincoln, Lauri, Leni, Lola, Lisa, Launa, Luan, Lily, Luana, Lucy, the characters are cool and they are there for eachother and not dicks to eachother, they feel like a family, they fight sometimes but in the end they all come together when things get serious for any one of them,

Spongebob-The last few episodes have been good and Spongebob Out of Water was really good and I really enjoyed it but I've always loved Spongebob from S1-9, most of the episodes,

I agree 100%. This show is awful, and gives awful messages. I saw an episode that said TV prevents brain rotting. I saw not one, but two episodes where it says kids stuff is only for kids.
This show also ruined the characters.
Robin went from a smart and clever fighter, to an obnoxious little twerp.
Beast Boy went from being a shy joker to just a dumb goofball.
Cyborg went from a sympathetic big brother like character to a loud, annoying dUdE.
Starfire went from the fish out of water sweetheart to "the alien that says WHAT".
Raven went from a girl who battles her demons 24/7 to a MLP Obsessed Emo chick.
I watched the original so much as a kid, and I just HATE this show so much.

Well, check the ratings of these cartoons and check the ratings for Teen Titans Go on IMDb. You'll find that the TTG rating is lower that the other cartoons I mentioned. What I dont like about this show, is that sends the wrong messages. it tells kids not to read books, it tells them not to savor your food, and like was it said in this episode discourages challenging content! And those are only a few of the bad messages it sends! But on top of that, refuses to give any criticism a second thought.

As someone who watched that episode, it was actually the opposite, by the end of the episode they... Uh, beat the giant living bellies by savoring their food.
When I saw the episode about books being bad, I was so freaking close to throwing the remote at the tv.
One episode that frustrated me more than any other was Nature. At first, it had a pretty decent premise of Beast Boy deciding to live out in The Wild when his Animal Shape-shifting powers weren't working, due to him being too civilized. I actually thought that was going somewhere. It would have been cool to see Beast Boy struggle with his humanity and animal side.
But then the episode went downhill as Beast Boy was too wimpy to survive anywhere in that jungle. Not to mention The Other Titans were following him for some reason, something that REALLY tipped me off.
I was patiently waiting for Beast Boy to toughen up and say something like "I am done acting civilized." make himself look like Tarzan, and act more primal, and maybe his shape-shifting powers would start working again.
But no, that's Too Smart. We cannot have a character named "BEAST BOY" be a badass.
Now To be fair, he did go savage and chased after a bunny, but when he met Mother Nature (Who is a high pitched fairy for some reason) and after she told him about The Circle Of Life, Beast Boy confused it for Tacos and convinced Mother Nature to turn The Jungle into a City.
Yeah, There's just something about Turning an entire Jungle into a City that just feels, Wrong. It kind of sends a bad message about the environment and how we should treat it.
The ending also felt completely forced. Even when Beast Boy got his powers working again, he turned into a dragonfly and Robin aggressively ate him and shouted "Pure Protein!"
Yeah, this episode was really hard to look back at without Cringing.
I saw the episode a long time ago and I remember it being kinda forgettable and boring
I was willing to give the show a chance when I happened upon it a few years ago. And it was alright, but then I started to notice just how flawed it is. The episode that made me give up was one where Beast Boy just started acting like a passive-aggressive jerk and pushing Robin around, and Robin simply gave up. That was completely out of character for both and made realise that this show to quote one of the all-time greats: "Just. Did. Not. Care."

Now, my least favorite episode of Teen Titans Go is the one where Robin obsesses over being the left leg in a giant robot. Now that's a stupid, confusing episode which is an insult to not only the original Teen Titans, but to Robin as a character in general. The writers turned Robin from a cool, brave, heroic, mysterious warrior to...a brat whining about how he didn't get his way. That's real insult.
And let's not forget the only episode of TTG to make us feel sorry for Robin is the one the others jinx him basically they're idea of making us feel sorry for this poor excuse of a character who doesn't deserve the mantle of Robin is to make the others even bigger assholes then usual and have Robin be punished for no good reason what so ever.
That's what they did for all of them. In fact, the only character which has stayed somewhat in character is Raven--and even then, she's just not the same.
The only thing similar to raven from the original is that she is the most down-to-earth titan.
