Thank you for this video. The Tensile Pack was always on my radar but there was never any in-depth looks at the bag. I also assumed it was x-pac with the diamond design on the bag, shocked that it isn't.
I was leaning towards the Chrome Kadet, but I just like the square look of the Tensile Hip Pack more. And, I could wear it on my hip along with my Kavu Switch Slinger if I really, really wanted to, which is nice.

I really do not know what the material is - I wish they put it somewhere rather than the generic description.
Similar to x-pac. XPAC is just the brand name by Dimension Polyant for the laminated fabrics like Cordura and Kodra is to woven nylon fabrics.

The side pockets are made for bike water bottles or bought water. They are a bike bag company after all.
Good review, but I want to actually see it worn as a hip pack. Chrome only displays it as crossbody in images. Want to see how it fits.
you think i can fit my Nikon D750 with 24-120 lens?
Thank you for this review…
you are welcome!
Is the belt noisy if you jump up and down?
Not noisy but you feel the weight of the buckle.
Have you gotten to try the tensile ruckpack ?
No I have not.
It's incredible! I have one and it's one of my favorite backpacks I've ever owned!
This pitch is like for kids… too small!
