Did you hear about the complaints the Long Island residents have been making about the planes flying too low over parts of LI during their descent into JFK
Yes I’m aware of that that’s comes from most southwestern parts of Nassau and Long Beach which have complained about that. People that live close to the airport are going to see planes flying very low to the ground. It’s not those parts of LI but you also have these neighborhoods near JFK including Ozone Park, South Ozone Park, Howard Beach, Arverne, Somerville, Edgemere, Far Rockaway, Jamaica, South Jamaica and East New York. With LGA you have East Elmhurst, Jackson Heights, Astoria, College Point, Corona and Flushing having the planes flying very low there as well.
@@Reformperson I've always been curious about the viability of a G train extension project along 21st Street in Queens but then also going further north into the Bronx and terminating at 161st St - Yankees Stadium myself. It was always one of my favorites "this is silly but I think there's something there" concepts as it would give the G more utility/attractiveness being a true link between bourougs and secondary cores.
@@nycli376 oh yeah for sure and then have it take it over sending all the A trains that went to the Rockaways to Lefferts Blvd, which would really benefit so many people in Northern Queens get a North South Connection to provide relief from the Q52 and Q53 SBS. Not only that we have the M running every 10 minutes on each branch and every 5 minutes to Manhattan starting at Broad Channel.
@@Reformperson also it would be excellent idea for the 6th Avenue (M) Train to be a full time line from Middle Village Metropolitan Avenue Station in Queens to The Rockaway's with the (A) Train, plus replacing the The Rockaway Park Shuttle Train and run via 63rd Street Tunnel, while the (F) run via 53rd Street Tunnel with the (E) at all times to release the over crowing between Queens Plaza Station in Queens and 5th Avenue/53rd Street Station in Manhattan. Also have the (G) return to QBL except late nights and have the (G)/(R) end up in Queens Plaza Station in Queens.
It’s Awesome you got JetBlue taking off!

It would be nice to ride the 6th Avenue (M) Train via Rockaway Beach Branch/via JFK Airport for Queens Link.
