When I got married and when I designed my cousins wedding we were able to come in the night before. I think if the venue doesn’t have an event the night before they should let you come in to set up. Even if they change a fee a lot of planners would take advantage of that. Beautiful work!

The client had to pay for more time for me to go the day of in order to decorate!! She ended up paying for 3 extra hours for me at $100 an hour 🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️😤😤 I did get it done! The venue owner ended helping me through! Turned out gorgeous! Thank God 😊

Lonielle I don't give many comments on those I follow but this was a very nice setup. I just want to add yes it common to have only an hour or 2 because you have to pay for additional hours for setup time I live in Florida and I typically don't work with venues that don't allow at least 4 or more hours. Although I did just do a setup within an hour and a half but had 2 hours to setup but only because my client was in a tight situation and just had an aunt pass away the week before the baby shower. But of course I do complete setups to which makes a difference. I'll be posting on my channel this last baby shower if you'd like to check it out. But this was a great setup.
The setup time is crucial. Lol! 9/10 times the owners have NO other events the day of yours. The graduation party I did started at 5p the venue owner had no events before my clients! I was soo sad to hear I couldn’t come that morning to set up - unless client paid $100 per hour for more set up time!! I can NOT WAIT to get my venue open one day soon! 😊

Definitely! If there’s no event the night before, we used to be able to setup. It’s nice to know that some venues will still let you do that.
Everything was lovely as always. Great venue manager. Wish they all would be like her. It really does take more than two hours to set up an event
