+udit krishna Unfortunately, these yoyos are not available in India. We currently have no plans to ship to India. This is because we had 75% of our shipments to India get lost when we used to ship there, and we could not afford to continue doing business there.

What do you mean by slips?
yotricks slips off my hand and then falls in the string and then binds 😭😭 it hurts a lot
That just means you need to practice the trick more. We give all the tips you need in this video.

I was browsing the other day and I came across the velocity and I'm not sure if the dial will make it fully unresponsive or not and will it be good for grinds?

I was wondering what yoyo is cheap and good for grinds, you're opinions would really help me a lot.
Juan Marquez In my opinion only metal yoyos are good for grinds, specifically metal yoyos that are bead blasted. Unfortunately, this means that it will be difficult to find a good grinding yoyo for less than $40. However, the Shutter yoyo is just over $40 and it is really great for grinds, so I suggest you check that yoyo out.

I'm going to have to wear gloves my entire life any time I want to grind.
My hands and pits sweat profusely after minimal physical activity as though I were some kinda slob, for no reason at all. It's impossible for me to keep my hands from sweating.
I tried just pulling the string up and gently setting it on my finger to line up the grind, and no matter at what angle I set it, I flies up my hand and over. I was pretty close to 85⁰ and it was still climbing my hand.
This is on a Y01 Node so I definitely know grings are doable.
Ugh. My spraypaint gloves are good for string burn but not for this.

TheRafi818 Currently we do not, but we will be teaching that bind in the future. That being said, it is pretty straight forward to do. Just setup a normal bind and do a reverse flip on the trapeze, making sure to pinch the string on the exit.
Can we have a video on the off axis finger spin/grind I'm trying to learn with my horizon I can get it up for 5 seconds but can't hop it up or bind it afterwards.

Do you have to use a metal yoyo or can this work with some plastic ones? If so which ones?
You still can grind using plastics with smooth finishes like the SF PLSTC or the unprld Antidote (maybe others too but both of those can be used to grind) but I think bead blasted/matt finish metals are better
tired with unresponsive DV888, not working... it's biting the string and pretty hard hurting my hand :D why is it happening when the yoyo is unresponsive?

I have one more question about the benchmark v. I have the genesis which is a h shape, what would be the difference in playability or stability compared to a v shape yoyo?
The Genesis is all around better, IMO.

Yes, your hands will grind much better when they are dry.
Can you do these kind of tricks with an unresponsive The Sage?
Not very well. Most plastic yoyos do not grind very well.

SoulArcher 200 That yoyo looks like it has a polished finish, and yoyos with a polished finish are typically not good for grinds. Bead blasted yoyos, like the Czech Point, are much better for grind tricks.

Mohammed Albalushi Plastic yoyos are never all that great for grinds. You can certainly do a simple finger grind with the Sage, but it will not last as long or work as well as something like the Shutter.
Can any metal yoyo grind or it depends on the coating and anodizing?

+Brandon Peche It depends on what direction the yoyo is spinning. If you are not throwing the breakaway, then the spin will be backwards, for example.

i got a yomega glide yesterday and have gotten exeptionally good at yoyoing especially at grinds but with the glide i start a grind it just comes back to my hand,im not sure what it is but i think it is just a new yoyo thing but would you by any chance know what it is
+Nathan King If you have a different yoyo with an unresponsive bearing, I suggest you try switching bearings and see if that helps.

Yotricks. I've been playing with a dv888 unresponsive and am ready for o make my first upgrade and I'm rely on the fence about it I should get the horizon or the shutter. I know the horizon spins longer and is set up well for grinds, but isn't the shutter as well? Which would kill truly prefer? Please help
Justin Tobias Both are excellent yoyos. In general we suggest going with the Shutter first. Unless longer spin times and off-axis finger grinds are your main concerns for a new yoyo, we feel that the Shutter is a slightly better option for your first yoyo in that category.

Actually, the yoyo was only responsive because I over-lubed the bearing for this shot. It is a Benchmark H. I picked that yoyo because it normally grinds quite nice... when it is playing unresponsive.

i have a problem with my shutter whenever it hits my fingers it become responsive and shoots back into my hand is there a certain mistake im making?
olivia crouch It sounds like your yoyo is not playing completely unresponsive. Have you tried changing the string? Also, have you lubed the bearing?
yotricks I plan on buying either the Sage yoyo pro pack or the velocity yoyo starter pack, will I be able to do some finger grind tricks (like the last trick you did on this video) in the future? :D
YG STAN With the Sage you will be able to do the last trick we show in this video, but Plastic yoyos will not grind nearly as well as the yoyo we show in this video. If you are interested in grind tricks I would suggest you consider eventually moving to a Shutter or a Horizon. Both are excellent for grinds.

I have a question: if i do something similar to palm grind, the spin goes out in like 5 seconds. Does that mean my throw is not strong enough? I am using the same strength as usual so i want to check whether my usual strength is good or not.
A 5 second palm grind is a very long grind.

im debating getting a Canon or a replay pro. im interested in 5a but it is a lot more expensive. any advise?
+M Herring If you are interested in 5a, then the Canon is your best option. If you would like a less expensive yoyo that is good for 1a and 5a I suggest the Freehand Pro.

i perfected finger grinds but when i learned my yo yo did not roll off my arm it spins foreword it still dose it is is it supposed to spin backwards
