Hey Mattie, thanks for the small talk to myself and 8-year old son. Driving home he couldn't stop talking about meeting you and about finding all those little Bogglins figurines at your booth. I’m still so shocked at how sought after knock offs/boots are now. I never thought it would be possible 15 years ago when I got back into vintage toys. Yet here we are. I’m here for it. All toys and collectors welcome. The culture/community is always expanding and growing.

At 26 19 he's holding up an incomplete Daitarn figure. It's not a Shogun Warrior. At 26:34, the tank of from Gaiking. 27:13 was Ryger from the Getter Robo. I wish i was there. I would have cleaned house at that booth.

I see them the Daitarn from time to time. The 70s and 80s robot toys are highly sought after. The more metal the more valued. When the Japanese figures turned to mostly plastic, is when they became produced more frequently. Boxed and complete are of course highly prized. Most of my findings have been too high for my wallet. @@EdsRetroGeekOut

Another great video. I wish I can travel, shop for toys and maybe do videos like you, but I don't have the charisma like you. A couple of years ago, I got back into hunting toys from my childhood and the nostalgia is in full force. These toys brought back memories and happiness; your videos help as well. All these years of working, serving & making an impact on families and making a lot of money was good, but stressful. Although I still work, on the side I buy and sell toys, which is a passion I rediscovered through your videos; the extra money is a bonus to spend on family trips. Many thanks. When I retire from my regular job and take my toy "business" international, I hope to meet you and thank you personally.

That's weird, I was just thinkin' 'bout those Tonka figures (I've got two of them, they came with a Jeep, which I don't own anymore, only the two figures, a man and a woman, and a dirt bike), and they indeed look like those Fisher Price Adventure People (with the same pose) that I still own, including a helicopter and an ambulance, both in mint condition.

Knickerbocker’s '79 LotR toyline, based on Bakshi’s animated movie. Personally I find the design of the figures as well as the packaging very appealing. Depending on condition, even loose these figures can be pricey though.
When it comes to the He-man/Skeletor 2-pack with cassette and when you take into account the high quality of those repro covers, I’d sure consider it. After all, an original will knock you back a several thousand Euros.
Those same guys offered an original at last year's edition of Vintage Toys of the Universe. They asked around 7,000 Euro (± $7.600) for it… Tad bit too much for my taste haha

I have a reproduction cape for my original 80's Scareglow. The originals I can find are all faded and look horrible. The reproduction I got from the UK looks amazing and was 1/3 of the price.

Fisher Price Adventure people kicked Tonkas ass. FP had solid, well sculpted figures, whereas Tonka had weird skinny rubbery figs.
Not to mention all the playsets FP had.

I have a repro box for my 1979 Kenner Alien. I had the figure,dome,poster so I just needed the box. For 50$ the repro makes me feel better having it display with newer Super 7 versions. It's labeled as a repro on the bottom and the colors are a wee bit lighter. Wouldn't fool a buyer when I pass and I feel better about it being protected. Originals go for 3k Mint in box and beat up ones for 1k. I can handle that as it's going into my cave.
I can imagine trying to find the vintage box seperate would be super tough to find 😅

Ed what was that actiin figure line called that cane in a 4 pack. It was a off brand of 3.75 gijoes except youed get 4 or more figures firvthe price of 1 gjioe? 3.75 inch o ring style. Cannot find tbe video but you had disccused about the deal. And your mother bought you tbe figs so you grew up with the off brand gijoes. Tbe catch was you would like 4 figs fir the price of 1 gijoe. If you could reply tgat would be great. I recently bought an 3d resin printed 3.75 o ring style Warduke and resin doesnt have the same durability amd feel of gijoes. I want to spend 5k$ . Send my warduke figure in so they can maje molds and produce a better version with better materials. If all goes well. Ill most definitly gift you a warduke. That you can majke a video on. Much appreciated!
100% pro reproduction. As long as you're happy with what's in your collection, it shouldn't matter, HOWEVER, if you decide to sell, it's your responsibility to tell buyers what's not original. Shady sellers suck.

You can’t reproduce the felling of owing the genuine vintage item. All reproductions should be clearly marked as such.
