Hey Chant, I am going through the same garbage as you with your MC. I am also learning as I go with this hotshot adventure. I did learn a tip from my mentor when loading something that’s driven up your ramps. Chock your tires and engage your parking brake! The rocking of your truck and trailer is very hard on your transmission. My mentor learned the hard way when he had to replace his transmission. Still want to meet up with you someday and share other tips and tricks. So whenever you hit the Bismarck, ND area, drop me a message!
Hey chant u ahould do a review of the trailer and your tools that u use daily. Possibly weight that you can carry being a non cdl and how much the truck and trailer are seperate and together empty then loaded
I really thought you had an easy start whit your new MC, started with a buddy new MC but He had 29 years on the road was just hard to get loads then some we ran for week after week and then they changed to 1 year on the next after dropping a run for them that day. Now with new subcontractor rules might had to start a new MC all over again. I pray I will not have to start a new MC over again for the thought of it makes not want to put my own rig on the road. TIRE CHAINS are needed out in the mess of the west your heading for.
Brother. I love your videos; and your entire approach to hot shot and life. But, you’re killin me by not scotching your trailer wheels at least. Especially when, diving something heavy on the trailer ramps. That could literally bust your transmission/ transfer case, etc. I’ve been there brother.
There is no reason that anyone should object to you fueling at what I call "Mom & Pop" pumps. I've seen RV trailers bigger than your trailer at pumps like this.
Do you ever get hassled by semi drivers by taking a parking space at larger truck stops? The way I figure it you have just as much right to those spots-after all you are an over the road trucker too!!
I have no idea what your "Powered by Jobber" means or is but I think at this point you should remove it from your truck and also complete your company name change. IMHO its got to be confusing to see a "Landscaper" delivering stuff many states away from their home state.

I understand that they spray citric acid on aluminum wheels and fuel tanks on big trucks-brightens them up but not shiny like polishing...

It’s a heater he has so he dosent have to keep the truck idling all night just to stay warm it runs off diesel he made a video about it

Need a bit of education on chaining forklifts. Everyone has to learn, no shame. Invest in some shackles.
