  • Learn how to Solve Systems of equations by Elimination in this free Math Video Tutorial by Mario's Math Tutoring.
    0:23 Example 1 Solve the System 5x-y=7, x + 4y = 14
    1:56 Example 2 Solve the System x + 2y = 6, -3x - 6y = 4 (No Solution)
    2:54 Example 3 Solve 2x - y = 5, -4x + 2y = -10 (Infinite Solutions)
    3:48 Example 4 Solve 2x + 3y = -1, 5x + 4y = 1

    can you tell us when it is better/easier to use the elimination method vs the substitution method?

    • @MariosMathTutoring
      @MariosMathTutoring  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Good question Kevin. If you already have one of the variables by itself on one side of the equation then I would use substitution. If both variables are on one side of the equation in both equating I would use elimination...

    How did you get x = 2 from 21x = 42?

    • @LvnderSoul
