🐦 On Valentine's Day, we humans commonly give flowers to our loved ones. But in the depths of the forest in the central Cardamom Mountains, our camera trap captured the Valentine moment of a red-headed trogon, catching food as a gift to attract its loved one. Check out this adorable video of red-headed trogons caught on camera, engaging in some sweet flirting. Did you know that red-headed trogons are known for their stunning feathers and charming courtship displays, often involving playful behavior like singing? 🎶 Listen closely and you might just hear their melodious tunes harmonizing with the rustling leaves.
🌳 With support from USAID Morodok Baitang, our partners are working to conserve wildlife species and their habitats through the enhancement of forest management and wildlife resource management within the Lomphat, Keo Seima, and Siem Pang wildlife sanctuaries, and the Central Phnom Kravanh National Park.
