Feel like some ppl blowing sam’s loss out of proportion. His peach this set was visibly off. It was just not his game for whatever reason. Combine that with Nairo in the zone, it’s not hard to tell who won the mental game so I just think sam just wasn’t there that set, unfortunately and sure a loss is a loss and props to Nairo but some people are kinda being a little too dramatic with his win here.

Ganon/Peach is not bad for ganon at all, at least compared to the other top tiers. Dude has a hard time against Fox and Lucy and gets murdered by Pika and Palu. Peach? 55/45 at worst.

I wouldn't say he threw, just keeping him in check bc Sam has struggled a lot against the Ganon in the past, but ganon peach is absolutely awful. Not as bad as like against pika, but it's still a terrible matchup bc of how easily peach can combo him, pressure, wall him out, and edgeguard
55/45? When 1 character beats the other character in neutral, can get out of disadvantage better, and can edgeguard better that would definitely not be 55/45. Ganon has to approach Peach. Peach can use turnips in multiples ways to set up against someone like Ganon. She can mixup her approach or not approach at all. If Ganon gets knocked far enough to the point he has to use air dodge he's an easy snipe. Granted his recovery doesn't have a hotbox so it can't be counter when trying to recover like Ike or Chrom. But she doesn't need that against Ganon's predictable recovery. And if Peach really wants to she can just float and just fair or dair to prevent Ganon from getting back. Also float in neutral, done at the proper height can make it where Ganon can't rely on short hop nairs. And she has moves safe on shield against Ganon. Look at the great punish Nairo gives when Samsora uses side b twice in a row! A grab whiff and stay in shield, even though Ganon has crappy out of shield options. And Samsora just goes back to turnip throw into grab or dash attack. For Ganon to win the MU the peach player would have to not really know the MU, be less skilled, or the Ganon happens to get reads (like if Nairo had got that upsmash) or get a lot of parries on approach.

peach’s counter can be abused in the opponent’s favor if used incorrectly and half the time it does miss, along with its endlag
