My wife and I kissed for the first time at a friend's birthday party. He served tiramisu rather than a "regular" birthday cake. Every year we celebrated our First Kiss Anniversary with tiramisu (we rarely remembered our wedding anniversary, the wedding was just a formality that came one daughter and seven years later). We got 47 such anniversaries until she was taken away from me, so I've made tiramisu 47 times. Except for the sugar, that I left out (no obesity here, thank you very much) my recipe looks almost exactly the same as yours. After she died I couldn't make myself make another tiramisu, but it's probably time to start again, this time in her honour. Thank you for a very good video with a detailed recipe in the description, and I agree, always use (metric) weight, never volume if you want repeatability. Kudos!
Thank you for sharing your beautiful story. And I'm sorry for your loss. You and your wife must had amazing 47 years. I would be happy if you treat yourself with Tiramisu this year because you totally deserve it!!
Your Tiramisu looks absolutely delicious. I love how you made your own lady finger biscuits, they looked great too as they rose in the oven. I don't have a partner to make this for, but I think I'll make it for my dad.
Excellent recipe. I made it last week and it came out perfect. Thick, creamy, and full of flavor. I followed your directions exactly with the exception of adding grated 1/2 milk chocolate and 1/2 dark chocolate between the layers. Thank you for your continued great recipes.
I made this from scratch this week. The taste was amazing even without the alcohol and my ladyfingers being slightly wide. So lovely and creamy. Definite thumbs up and will make again 🩷🩷✨
I made your recipe for the mascarpone cream which was incredibly delicious however I used store bought lady fingers. I also made mine in a spring form pan into a cake form. Thanks for sharing your recipe!
Thank you so much for this recipe. I made this last week for a colleague's birthday last week. It was so tasty and everyone loves it!! The mascarpone cream was so fluffy and creamy😍. We don't have cake flour in Norway and the ladyfingers was perfect with all purpose flour!
Looks great--love tiramisu! Going to try this plant-based as I have a family history of Cancer so need to avoid the estrogen and possible BLV in dairy and choline and lead in eggs. Thanks so much for sharing
Yummm! You can't go wrong with tiramisu on any occasion! 😍 Hi Aya, When using your handmade ladyfingers recipe with your tiramisu recipe, can you eat the tiramisu right away or do you store in fridge overnight? I know storebought ladyfingers are much harder in texture and need more time for it to soften. 😊
Тирамису , ... Все любят этот торт ! Его Вкус ещё долго ощущаещь ! Любимый торт! Спасибо Шеф! 👍👍 Tiramisu,... Everyone loves this cake! You can feel its Taste for a long time! Favorite cake! Thanks Chief!👍👍
Thank you so much for this recipe. I am going to make this for my daughter this week. Do you cook your lady fingers with fan oven or conventional. Thank you so much for your time. Love your videos xx
Hi Aya! Another dessert to thank you for!! Could you please tell me which brand of coffee you used? Was it expresso? Regular American coffee? I need to know!! And, did you add sugar to the coffee? Thanks for another wonderful recipe!!! My best to you!
Question. I have seen Tiramisu made the same way but also folding whipped egg whites from the separated yolks into the cream mixture. I assume that would make a lighter cream. Have you ever tried that?
It's possible even though the taste changes a lot from actual Tiramisu. It still tastes great if you love cream cheese dessert. Leave the cream cheese at room temperature beforehand to make it soft so it blends easily!
Not a bad imitation of tiramisu I prefer my recipe which i believe is an original from Italy and the recipe is at least 50 years old. I will try it anyway 😊. Cheers
I watched, because usually not Italian people shows a lot of mistakes. This was good. Practically perfect. You also did the sterilization of the eggs ( almost no one does in Italy, but it's a good thing). Only one small things. No way that you put salt in this cake. No reason and no one does in Italy. Anyways good job! 🎉
Tiramisu using ladyfingers from last time.!! Seems easy to do!🤗 And it looks delicious!😋 Thank you for showing me how to keep the cream from loosening. It was helpful!! (人''▽`)☆
Lady fingers (pastrie) Decaf coffee2.2 oz Strong coffee 8.8 oz Cocoa powder 7 eggs Sugar 100g 1/2 cup Heat it with simmering water for ten minutes and don't stop Cool it down to room temperature Mascarpone cream 440g 16oz Add 1/4 salt mix 470g of heavy cream different bowl brown sugar 2 tbsp add after mix and put the ladies fingers
@@PastryLivingwithAya exactly! Which is why I thanked you for this recipe Aya 😀. Although someone thought I dissed your recipe … it was certainly not my intention ! I love watching your channel btw .
Ok, it was all well and good until i used the hand mixture to mix the Mascarpone egg mixture with the whipped cream, and it all became runny and the longer i mix the worst it gets so i gave up and put it in the fridge like that , why didtgat happen?
How about a delicious Tiramisu this weekend or for Valentine's Day?😊 Share it with your special someone/people!

You can eat it right away or wait longer for the cream to get a bit firmer!
Perfect presentation. Thank you.
Glad you enjoyed it!
I tried many recipes but so far this is the best❤
I am trying it out tonight. I think with your method it will turn out well. Just don't have time for lady fingers so buying those this time.

awesome recipe mam , please show PINEAPPLE SQUARES recipe please
Can we add Greek yogurt to substitute mascarpone cream
Thanks ❤
Thanks for sharing, question can I use cream Cheesecakes as a substitute instead of mascarpone ? It's hard to get that in my country 😪

I bet it tastes amazing!
Hi Aya. In the video you used heavy cream but the ingredients say egg white. Which one is best?
Are you reading the right part of the recipe? Egg white in the ladyfingers, heavy cream in the tiramisu. Or am I missing something?
You are so right! I didn't scroll far enough. Thanks!
Super❤️👏🏻🌞👏🏻🎀
Hi.. Is there any substitute for eggs in this recipe..?
It won't exactly taste the same, but you can omit it if you are allergic to it!
Which brand cocoa powder you use?
I used valrhona’s (top) and Hershey’s special dark.(the bottom).
Thanks
How do you make the lady fingers?
I shared the tutorial last week, the recipe and link are in the description!

What happens when you don’t scrape the sides down?
Oftentimes, the uneven mixture is left on the bottom and sides. It's to ensure the batter is evenly incorporated!
@@PastryLivingwithAya thank you sweetheart 39c in Sydney today 😫

I can’t eat tiramisu knowing that the eggs used are raw . Ugh. Thanks for this recipe !!
You can heat them like this time!
Did you miss the 65-degree part? No raw eggs here.

Yeah original tiramisù doesn't have whipped cream in it , nor rum . Call it tiramisù inspired cake
Oh, is it? I always thought original tiramisu has a little bit of rum in it. Thanks for sharing the info.
Every time I start to try and lose some weight......
😂😂
Just leave out the sugar. I've been doing this for years, and I hate sugar.

Totally wrong. No liqueur is added in the original recipe and above all, Nobody in Italy uses heavy cream. This is a wrong recipe
You're not cooking the egg?! 🤢
